Spent the last 15 minutes thinking of something clever to say. So far all I’ve come up with is ” oh just bugger off Johnny”.

‘Wouldn’t even enter my mind to do that’: Bairstow reignites Ashes stumping furore, accuses Aussies of claiming unfair catches

EJ’s use of the word ” mate” is so passive aggressive that it actually mocks what mateship is all about.

Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies

I genuinely believe that I could have done a better job coaching the Wallabies from my sofa with the Roar contingent as my assistant coaches. I hope RA sue him for breach of contract and anything else that they can possibly come up with.

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

I’ve heard a rumour about this. Completely unsupported but good enough for the Roar!

Besieged Wallabies throw lucrative deal at Crichton in bid to lure Roosters star back to rugby - with a Super twist

Could Twiggy Forest be involved? I’ve heard a completely unsupported rumour.

20 missed tackles and still not one try.

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

Here’s a curve ball. Is Rennie still technically under contract? Could we just sack Jones, reinstate DR and pretend to ourselves that this catastrophe was all just a bad dream?

SPIRO ZAVOS: My message to Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones: 'In the name of God, go'

I have many friends who don’t follow rugby. They all find this hilarious and don’t care that the Wallabies are Australian. We, as a sport, aren’t connecting with the rest of Australia. I find it maddening but what’s worse, after this latest debacle I’ve lost the passion to stand up to them. This was such a lost opportunity to win back existing fans, let alone the rest of the country. We have a Lion’s tour and 2 World Cups to fix this otherwise I feel that rugby as a national sport will disappear never to return.

This is the brutal reality: There are Aussies desperate to see Wallabies fail, and many want to see the sport's complete demise

Hamish has doubled down on Eddy. Says the two of them stand by their decisions and are confident in the work that they are doing. Outrageously he says he hasn’t spoken to Eddie about Japan but Waugh has and he trusts them implicitly. I am being bombarded with text’s from non rugby supporting Australian mates who think the whole thing is hilarious. The disaster that is Australian rugby will now be passed on to yet another generation and may never recover.

Yes Eddie, we really are sitting here thinking 's--t, what's this bloke on about?'

Yep. Lots of people on this site are very worried about how this will affect NZ rugby right now.

'Bloody disappointed: Wallabies OUT of World Cup as nation to miss finals for first time, Eddie fights for survival

EJ interviewing for the Japanese coaching role was wrong on so many levels. Ethically, morally and practically. Like trying to pick up at a funeral. What on earth was he thinking?

'Bloody disappointed: Wallabies OUT of World Cup as nation to miss finals for first time, Eddie fights for survival

Well, they wanted to put the Wallabies back in the news and they’ve achieved that. Chapeau!

'We're going to go through some pain': Eddie bristles at SBW criticism but takes 'full responsibility' after historic loss

I honestly can’t remember when we haven’t been in nightmare territory!

The Wrap: Group C fast becoming everyone’s favourite - except for the Wallabies as early flight home looms large

Not denying the try, just fowl play BB.

Player ratings: Skelton, Tupou Wallabies' best despite Donno's day out in World Cup opener

Thanks Geoff. I thought that the much vaunted opening tier 1 games were a bit of an anti climax. Hopefully teams taking a while to settle in. As for Australia, could it be that the second half was pretty much what Eddie had in mind? Play without the ball, no injuries, no red cards and as little stress as possible after a big first half lead? I hope so. Finally I didn’t pay enough attention to the initial draw so I missed Russia’s participation in the tournament. I assumed that following the invasion of Ukraine they would have been banned. Was it ever even discussed ? It seems a little out of kilter with the rest of Europe and the world.

The Wrap: Tupou coup looks more profound by the day, Christie vitriol out of order, Argies and Scots a shambles

I watched that closely on several replays. He actually got his legs in front of the player before he slid over the line. The contact came from the Georgian player sliding into him.

You seem sincere BF but I don’t know whether to thank you or curse you so I shall do both. ????

'It's everything': The craziness and stupidity that must be addressed if Eddie is to be proven right

I understand that but perhaps a “thank you for your service ” and an honest explanation might have been better. Instead we ( and Hooper himself apparently) were left to guess or attempt to read between the lines.

Hooper set for Paris sign-off: Wallabies great poised for new RA deal ahead of Olympic farewell

Hooper’s departure from Waratahs was an embarrassment and his departure from the Wallabies was poorly handled. An Olympic gold medal would seem an appropriate way to cap off his outstanding service to Australian rugby.

Hooper set for Paris sign-off: Wallabies great poised for new RA deal ahead of Olympic farewell

With Vunivalu and Marky Mark clearly dominant in the air I would have been totally comfortable with the Wallabies kicking every single play into the corner for them. Also with a vulnerable lineout and a solid looking scrum I was surprised that we kept kicking penalties to the corner.

'Couldn't blow out a candle': Vunivalu vindicates Eddie's huge call as ex-NRL star finally delivers for Wallabies

Hard fought draw.

'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France

I still remember his shoulder charge on a Wallaby forward 2 metres from the line 5 mins to go and the game on the line. No red card, no penalty try and no subsequent charges. I would have jailed him for life, no parole.

'Always illegal': World Rugby successful in appeal as Owen Farrell banned for start of World Cup

I mean obviously…Losing 2 props, maybe for ever, is horrendous . Bell brilliant. Skelton brilliant. Effort good. Forecast gloomy.

All Blacks smash Wallabies to seal Bledisloe AGAIN as Eddie's pain grows after devastating injury to star prop

Mate I hope so and if you’re right I’ll expect to see you on here on Sunday high fiving!

'Kiwis think they're better than us': Eddie turns up heat on Bledisloe rivals saying 'country sinks' when ABs lose

I’ll say this for Eddie, he’s not afraid of potentially looking like a fool. I can’t bring myself to say this stuff behind a wall of anonymity on The Roar!
