So even though Samo and Vickerman were named in the starting team a few days before the game, NZ were still expecting to play the powderpuff forwards? C’mon. NZ were aware of the calibre of these new inclusions and would have prepared as such, but is this instance they couldn’t match it.

Have the All Blacks peaked too soon?

Cooper just needs to be a lot smarter with how he deals with all of the extra attention. There’s no doubt what he did was intentional, and he’s extremely lucky he didn’t get suspended for it. Keep getting in McCaws face by all means, I think it’s beginning to be quite effective in hampering McCaws brilliance, but take a step back from pretty one-upsmanship and respond in the best possible fashion – by scoring points.

And Bob, Cooper was in no position to lay a hand on Nonu. He was flat footed and a good few metres away from Nonu. Sure, he could have made a spectacular dive to satisfy the critics, but he still wouldn’t have come within a foot of him.

Quade Cooper: Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde?

It’s NOT being played in Australia? Get outta here! Who’d have guessed.

All Blacks view Quade as cheap-shot artist

You’re dead set having a laugh right? Thaiday comes flying in with pushes and shoves. He definitely aggravates the situation, and needs to be severely reprimanded for such garbage. Stewart came flying in and blindsided Blair with a forearm, an incredibly dangerous action, not to mention incredibly cowardly. Helping out your brother in no way condones such pathetic action.

Fight night not a good look, but get on with it

Cooper should have been banned for a few weeks. It was a gutless act, no doubt about it. But there’s no bloody way in hell Umaga and Mealamu were innocent of foul play against BOD mate. One of the worst things I’ve seen. Absolutely gutless.

Nonu almost took off A Fainga’as head fairly early on too. He had an absolutely fantastic game, but maybe it would have been less stellar if he had’ve received the yellow card he so richly deserved.

Also, here’s a nice clip of Ritchie having a hissy at being legally cleared out:

If you lot picked up your act in defence maybe Quade would experience a bit more more contact. Must be hard for him having yawning gaps to ghost through time and time again.

No I don’t think they’ve peaked too early. I think they were simply beaten by the better team on the day. This will potentially galvanise them, and I think they’ll still be a real force come WC time. As always, clear favourites.

Have the All Blacks peaked too soon?

Their stellar performance in Auckland was them holding back? They were sharking? No – apart from one or two personnel changes (Dagg etc) they’ve shown their hand.

World Cup is on for the Wallabies, and the usual suspects

With good folk like you reminding them every few days Chuck, I’m fairly confident the Wallabies will somehow manage to remember that they are indeed playing the WC in NZ, and not Australia.

Wallabies rattle the All Blacks

Only someone as dull as Ritchie McCaw would need to physically go and ‘check our World Cup itinerary’ to work out that the whole shebang is being played in his own home country. Sharp as a marble.

Wallabies win Tri Nations. Now for the World Cup!

Mother jokes? Really? That’s how low you lot have sunk huh? REALLY clutching at straws now. Zing indeed eh katzilla!

Wallabies win Tri Nations. Now for the World Cup!

Brett Stewart is an absolute disgrace.

Fight night not a good look, but get on with it

The ’95 All Blacks were one of the all time great Kiwi sides, and despite those setbacks were widely expected to take the cup. And were well on their way to doing so, until it al; unravelled in the final.

And yes, favourites in the ’99 tournament too. They were still playing fantastic rugby leading up to event, and again took apart all and sundry leading up to the ill fated semi final.

It takes something truly spectacular for the All Blacks to lose this favoritism. Their worst is often superior to everyone else’s best. You know this. Any slumps by NZ are never longterm; they are remedied almost instantly and it’s business as usual defeating all comers. The few poor result you mention in the years leading up to those two tournaments don’t hold any weight. They were up and running again as usual.

They are clearly the best team in the world, and have been for a long time. They are have always been the favourites.

Why the All Blacks are really not chokers

It’s early days. I might surprise you yet. Will you surprise me by holding back on the anti Australian vitriol for a day? Let’s just say I’m not holding my breath.

Why the All Blacks are really not chokers

The day you hold back from laying the boot into the Walalbies in a Wallaby thread is the day your moral high horse riding will hold any weight whatsoever.

Why the All Blacks are really not chokers

To choke you need to be the almost unbackable favourite beforehand. The Wallabies has never been that, other teams haven’t been that, but New Zealand always are. It’s amazing how people such as yourself refuse to see this.

Why the All Blacks are really not chokers

Christ, was there anything in PeterK’s statement that was incorrect? Yes, the Wallabies will be stronger with the inclusion of those players. It will be a significant improvement. Stop being so precious – not everything is an attack on New Zealand.

Horwill has history in his hands for Brisbane decider

He’s talking specifically about the upcoming Bledisloe match, not the WC. I can’t believe this needs pointing out to you.

Springboks do Wallabies and All Blacks a favour, perhaps

I’m hoping this will lead to Luke finally dropping his ridiculous tough guy act. That holds no weight whatsoever now.

“all there comments are cocky, have you seen and heard quade cooper talk ,like a dummy, kiwis never boast about themselveswin or lose kiwis take it like men ,not crybabys like aussies”

Yep I’ve heard Cooper talk. I’ve also seen you write. Both are offensive.

Wallabies can tear rivals apart, says Beale

I’m not suggesting that at all. I just admire their confidence and willingness to publicly back themselves. I don’t see Beale’s comments as cocky.

Ali Williams vs Matt Dunning. An unstoppable force of idiocy meets an immovable object of stupidity.

Wallabies can tear rivals apart, says Beale

We’ll wait and see how this plays out come World Cup time I guess.

We really need to drop this. It was a nothing incident. Who cares.
