Spouting homophobic garbage counts as giving them facts? Pull your head in. You’re an embarrassment.

Wallabies can tear rivals apart, says Beale

My. God.

Pause and take a breath All Blacks fans. You’re all playing right into their hands with this kind of petulant, hyper sensitive response. I wish we had the guts and mental fortitude to publicly back ourselves. Instead we wallow in a culture of negativity. Sure we win, but it just means that when we lose we’ve got a great excuse to fall back on. These young guys are putting themselves out there, openly admit their ambitions and back themselves to achieve it. It’s something we could take note of.

Wallabies can tear rivals apart, says Beale

Only just came across this. In my above post (the one you’ve replied to) I’d already admitted that I should structure my articles better and it was my first attempt. Thanks for pretty much repeating that verbatim. God help NZ indeed.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

*without the cruel digs.

It's time, Cadel

You seem to get quite personal with your criticisms here. It’d be a much more pleasant read with the cruel digs.

It's time, Cadel

You wouldn’t believe it but I actually have!

Flashy Wallabies up against an All Black wall

I agree with much of this article, but the only issue I have is with the idea of pressure. I feel there’s FAR more pressure on New Zealand than any other country competing, and this will be our downfall.

Flashy Wallabies up against an All Black wall

I assumed most people were familiar with the use of the term pressure in a sporting/performance context.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

I’m as guilty of it as many. I’m not too sure of how to turn it around come WC time and let the dominance continue to roll on through. But I thought posting my thoughts on the Roar might open it up to others to contribute. Undoubtedly, I should try and pose a proper question or unpack my thoughts more effectively in any future articles. It’s my first attempt, so I’m learning on the fly, haha.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

I have. Many times. Less frequently that ‘us’ or ‘we’ I’ll grant you, but it’s still used. Anyway, we’re arguing over semantics now.

But as I said to another poster, it’s easier to label me an impostor than it is to discuss the All Blacks flaws. I can’t blame you for taking that route.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

Hi Jerry.

While I don’t really like the Crusaders personally, I was gutted that they lost, and probably went too far with that blanket statement. I’m a bit of a pessimist when it comes to the national team, and that probably flowed into my Crusaders post sorry.

And my use of ‘the Kiwi’s’ is probably part of that pessimism too. No different to Australian posters commenting on their team and saying ‘the Aussie’s are good/crap etc’

New Zealand: the pressure is on

You’re right. I insinuated it, but didn’t really state it properly. That’s a fault with my writing sorry. I think the weight of expectation gets to them come WC time. I know it’s a big cliche to use, but there is a monkey on their back which gets larger and more stubborn every 4 years. And I’m just pretty scared that playing the cup at home will add to this pressure.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

Why can’t someone provide criticism of their own country?

New Zealand: the pressure is on

*You’re. And clearly not. Ahh well, probably best to take the easy path then katzilla.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

Thanks for a measured response BEL. You’re right; maybe I do have some pretty high expectations for the All Blacks. But I just feel that this dip in form once every 4 years has created an environment of pressure, which can only be heightened now we’re playing at home. In many ways I feel we’d have a better chance in the WC was held elsewhere!

New Zealand: the pressure is on

How is this laughable? I’ve been crystal clear in saying that we are dominant 3 of every 4 years, but we can’t win the greatest contest. For a team as good as NZ, that is underachievement.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

Hate to repeat my earlier response, but I feel this needs to be said: It’s a shame that any New Zealander seen as criticising their country’s national rugby team gets immediately cast aside as a troll account.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

It’s a shame that any New Zealander seen as criticising their country’s national rugby team gets immediately cast aside as a troll account. My earlier posts analysing the play of the Crusaders were fair points: we need a plan B to counter Cooper. You can also see me criticising Lachy Turner of Australia too. I aim to show no bias in my posts, but of course due to my own background I admit I’m more interested and focused on the All Blacks.

New Zealand: the pressure is on

Of course people forget about Turner’s lightning pace; he never uses it. If fact, if it wasn’t for that inter-code sprint championship he won recently, we’d never know about it.

Wallabies squad selections: analysis and reaction

Semantics. No matter how you slice it, it’s 5 wins on the trot for the Reds. Are the Crusaders their bunnies?

Reds victory could be gold for the Wallabies

I thought it was more interesting how Cooper underplayed his hand, played a mature distributing role that the Crusaders couldn’t counter. Maybe need to start working on Plan B, New Zealand.

Reds vs Crusaders puts All Blacks ahead

Losing the big matches that matter – the Kiwi’s seem to have that strategy absolutely mastered.
