Carlton FC should sign John Barker for a 4 year deal starting on a base salary with reviews at the end of every season.
His shown what it takes in the past 4 games to forfill the role and be a contender for top 8 side.
Carlton would be stupid to bring in a high paying coach worth the big bucks because the players and the up coming players arnt at the level to run with the bigger sides like the hawlks or freo and yes me being a blue bagger i would like to see my club grow and not just a quick fix like what malthouse was trying to achive. (just my opinion)
