Good read Mitchell, and you didn’t even mention some of the other sliding doors moments (the catch that turned into a six for example) which is entirely justified as there were so many. The entire tournament’s been a great advertisement for a format which personally I’ve been dubious about and I think that is in large part due to the wickets not just being roads. I’d take Starc’s yorker to Stokes over the biggest six any day.
At any rate, congrats to both teams, it’s not often as a neutral any sport gets your pulse racing and keeps you up 5hrs past your bedtime.
