Based on this assessment you would think the Wallabies won the championship.

REPORT CARD: Every Wallabies player rated, with biggest improvers and major concerns, from TRC

The Reds scrum destroyed both the Brumbies and Tahs packs early this season. And I mean tighheads being popped and packs driven 10 metres. The rolling maul of the Brumbies and now the Wallabies no longer works. The opposition just gets lower. Lastly, if Tate McDermott and Tuppo can’t get a run there is either something seriously wrong with the selection process or there is a serious culture issue within the Wallabies; or both.

The next Wallabies coach must be an Aussie

I’m sorry but I don’t see where in any position that we have an advantage over the ABs

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Foley returns at No.10 as Rennie makes EIGHT starting XV changes for Bledisloe opener

TT is still the best prop in OZ by a far stretch which just shows how far behind the competition we are. Remember, pick the tight first and the reserve tight second.

Aus vs Arg studs and duds: 'Outright calamity' - part-time No.15 fails basics, TT dominated, Rennie feels heat

JOC seems to be held to different level by selectors (and some commentators), as do a group of other players in the Wallabies squad.

WALLABIES TEAM: JOC gets redemption shot after 'stinker', Foketi's first start, prop to debut

Signing Hooper to a five year contract was ridiculous. It effectively ended the Wallaby careers of Gill and McMahon. Even Pocock couldn’t get a look in at 7.

Wallabies' backrow punch was lacking vs England but is crucial for Argentina

Cooper and JOC both have exceptional rugby brains. Assume Cooper is 10 so he is captain and JOC at 15 is another option. If you want a forward as VC then Harry Wilson at 8. The scoreboard since Hooper has been captain does not warrant him being captain at another World Cup. I don’t think White is our best 9 so definitely not him.

Hooper is brave and elite, and changing a captain is momentous, but it's a risk worth taking

The Reds pack destroyed the Brumbies and Tahs pack at the start of the Super season; albeit with TT, so I am not hopeful the Brumbies can dominate a England pack. Imho Tate should have one of the first picked after TT, if he was fit and JOC has more talent in his index finger than Tom Banks. I dont see any player in the Wallabies who would dominate their opposition.

'They struggled': Everything Dave Rennie said about Reds snubs, TT and JOC fitness, and player who's surprised him most

That starting front row will get destroyed by the poms

'Work ethic, aggression and aerial battles': Using Dave Rennie's statements to predict his first Test team selection

The old saying about the first person picked is the tight head and second person is the reserve tight head is 100% correct for the Wallabies. The Reds destroyed the NSW and Brumbies scrums at the start of the season, mainly due to Tupo and without him we loose.

What Rennie said about Suli plan, TT latest, Rodda shock, Hodge and McReight calls and Wallabies' 'point of difference'

Rugby in Australia is truly stuffed.

The unnamed source attacking Brad Thorn through the media is a disgrace

Based on “high-performance” every team in Australia has gone backwards over the past three years, in comparison to the NZ teams, except the Reds. So I would suggest to the “unmamed” RA offical that RA have a look at what Thorn is doing.

Rugby News: Thorn declares interest in battling McKellar for Wallabies top job but gets a big reality check

If Tupo or Slipper don’t play we will be slaughtered.

Wallabies XV to face England: We're getting close but some still have plenty to play for

Hunter Paisami at 12 or 13 please and their plenty of options around at the moment for 7 other than Hooper.

Wallabies XV to face England: We're getting close but some still have plenty to play for

I thought the Red’s played played terribly in the first half. There was no discernable structure to thier play. And I’m a Red’s fan. Even at the death they did where not sure what to do. That said their commitment to at the end was incredible. The Brumbies infringements were a result of Red’s pressure and were intentional and would have in any other game resulted in a penalty try and a red card.

Super Rugby thriller! Last-ditch James O'Connor try hands Reds the Super Rugby AU title

Was really impressed with the Force defense however, with 14 men the result was unfortunately inevitable. I would like to know how many viewers switch off after the send-off?

Brumbies fight past gallant Force to set up Reds showdown

O’Connor for me. He is the one of the few players guaranteed of a position, albeit because we don’t have another 10 of international standard (sad to say). He has developed great vision and can react quickly and instinctintly and naturally lead the team around the paddock. This assumes he acts his age off the field.

Who will be the Wallabies' captain in 2021?

Paisami and Petaia are the future and should start. Banks is a good Super player but not test level and should be replaced by Hodge. Hooper to the bench or LRO.

VOTE: Wallabies Bledisloe 2 DIY player ratings vs New Zealand

My heart says Herbert but head says Gallop. That said the problem requiring fixing is that the Wallabies and our Super Rugby teams are crap. I don’t believe we lack the individual player skills. We lack a system that harnesses those skills into winning teams. What we have is a system based on old school private school nepotism. So preferably someone from outside the system.

Who should take the helm at Rugby Australia?

I have been watching some old Wallabies games on Fox and it is obvious to me that our skills have degraded substantially over the past 20 years. This reflected in Super rugby and to a lesser extent at club level. I don’t completely understand why this is the situation but I have seen a lot of very talented schoolboys over the past 20 years give the game away due mainly to a lack of encouragement and a very narrow pathway with opportunities only given to a select few. It’s certainly not Castle’s fault: who I sympathise with having to manage Cheika.

Revelaed: The full team the Wallabies must pick for their next Test, as voted by you

Fardy’s comments on the wallabies defence are a sad indictment on coaching in Aust. The main reason why the Reds went to Suncorp was that the QRU were turning fans away at the gate at Ballymore because the games were sold out. Ballymore would be the perfect 20,000 capacity facility, if upgraded.

The Australian view from across the water: Scott Fardy

Cheika should accept full responsibility as the self appointed ‘font of all knowledge’ of Australian rugby. He reported to no one, certainly not RA or Castle or the fans. He lived in “Chieka World” completely oblivious to what was actually required to coach a team to succeed in the WC.

Michael Cheika's failure at the World Cup is Rugby Australia's, too

It was a reasonable question put to someone with low emotional intelligence who only thoughts were for himself.

Michael Cheika goes off at journalist after World Cup elimination

Its hard to believe that after 4 years of preparation and 2 RWC games the coach still does not know the best halfs combination.
