His kicking isn’t though. One area where Lynagh has been very good.

McReight masterclass, Uru statement: Reds smash Rebels in Aussie Super Rugby derby

Looking forward to seeing what Kiss is able to do. And the yearly matchup with Panasonic is cool. I was at last years one in Saitama. Great atmosphere. I hope there will be a stream or at least replay for tomorrow’s game.

Eddie reject ready to relaunch Wallabies career, as Kiss outlines preferred style for Reds

Aren’t they just saying that’s very unlikely that it was in fact a racist remark ?

Gordon slotted a couple off the sideline last week. So potential at least

there were 50k people at the Broncos v Dolphins game. That’s a one-off first time ever local derby, but still – I can’t recall the Reds getting anywhere near that at Suncorp.

He had a blinder at the Reds v Panasonic friendly in November. Awarded man of the match. Definitely a lower level than even a regular super Rugby game, but a step in the right direction

Whose stocks grew despite injury, who was a waste of money? Wallabies' winners and losers from 2022

Right. Because they’ve had very few opportunities for test level games since the world cup. Jamie Joseph wants them to use every change they can to get more game time. They play NZ in 2 weeks which will be the real test

I don’t know – the number of tries scored through our wings, or that set play off a line out that caught us completely flat footed. But you’re right – the pace was pretty frenetic – and a great game to watch

Uru had a cracker in my book

I was at the game, and I really don’t think Vinivalu was ‘on fire’ at any point. Some woeful defence – and the couple of times he had some space he did nothing with it. And I’m a Reds fan who really wanted him to come good. Both teams were pretty average in defence – hence the high scoreline. But Japan were much better skills wise. Hardly any dropped high balls and didn’t lose their own lineout multiple times the way we did. I thought Uru had a great game and a few others, but in the end Japan deserved the win.

Works well enough with a VPN. I’m in Japan, and Super Rugby AU isn’t on J-Sports either this year 😔 I would have tried Stan anyway to get the English commentary, but it means no chance of watching a game at the pub. Which *does* show NRL …
