Have you never seen a new manager come into a club and make a massive difference? It happens all the time, it in no way means that the club would have played as well all season if he was there from the start.
Tottenham have done ok all things considered. They never live up to expectations though.. There will be no top tier finish and they won’t even live up to your expectations of a top 6 this season.
That’s what i am talking about, Spurs fans think the club is so much better than it is.
We get told they are going to achieve things they don’t seem to be able to. Hence promise so much deliver so little.
Best you got is to hang your hat on Carling Cup results.

You can’t seriously begin to know what would have happened over the course of a year if harry was manager, what a silly argument.
Spurs fans seem to have this image of grandeur in their minds regarding their club that fails to match the reality of the situation.
The passion of the fans is what makes Football fun, i look forward to hearing your thoughts as the season progresses.

Knives Out. Hammers came from out of the relegation zone, changed managers and players and tied with Spurs. Hardly means they will break into the top tier this season.
Spurs have a habit of promising so much and delivering so little. Can’t see this changing in the new season.

Don’t worry about Man City affecting Spurs top tier ambitions, Spurs stuff things up nicely all by themselves. They always seem to get their ambitions and their capabilities all mixed up which is usually amusing to watch. Another 7th- 10th place finish likely again this year, that’s about the extent of their capabilities.

What could posibly be wrong with kissing the jersey badge or putting the hand over the heart during the anthem? Showing passion for your club or country is great to see and indicates to the fans that the player(s) care about their club/country as much as they do.

Man City’s defence last season was dreadful at best. Seems the solution is to sign as many strikers as possible. There is a long way to go before the season starts but their recruitment is puzzling to date.
Bellamy must be impressed by all this, I suggest they hide the golf clubs.

I for one do not understand the angst caused regarding the name each sport should be called. I call Soccer Football, Rugby League is League, Rugby Union is Rugby or Union and the AFL is Aussie Rules or simply AFL. When it comes right down to it, what each of us calls a code is not all that relevant.
The FFA has as much right to call the game Football as the AFL or Rugby League do.
I would like to hear from those that do get offended by what each code is called as to why they do and what actual difference it makes. As it stands it simply seems like it is whinging for the sake of it.
