Hard to criticise the English clubs too much, look at what they’re competing with… the UK has sport coming out of their ears. And it’s popular here, I see more Liverpool shirts walking round Sydney than I do Roosters
And Karaoke at games?! It’s called singing club songs mate which as much as I love the NRL, Australian crowds just don’t get.

Look at the talent that has come from Saints’ youth system, with an increase in cap they would more than compete in the NRL.
It’s alright saying that the game was only pre-season and its a different game come April but remember, if St Helens played for a full year through the winter they would improve too.

Incredible performance by St Helens to come here and beat Penrith, I was there and the Panthers were playing to win, this was not a trial for their players and the defeat was there to see on their faces.
Its frustrating to hear commentators claim that Saints would not make a dent in the NRL, lets remember that they operate on a third of the budget of NRL clubs and have youth system home grown talent at key positions, full back, both halves, wing, hooker…
