I think that a lack of fitness, or sheer laziness, creates a lot of discipline issues. Tired players means they can’t get back onside quickly, don’t get low in tackles, resort to cheap shots, and make stupid decisions.

I can’t watch Cheika. I don’t turn on the tv until the game is about to start, and I have to leave the room at half time. There’s something about him that reminds me of every boofhead I’ve met in my lifetime, every bully, and every goose that somehow rose above his station, usually through the unfair demise of another.
He might not be any of those things, but that’s what he reminds me of.
