Love Rugby! Currently in SF Bay Area. Australian born WB's fan, but huge admirer of AB's & Boks and the game in general.

Like Porecki, Hooper in from the side or Petaia with dumb sealing off on attack.

'I watched the whole game, mate. Incredibly depressing': How the Wallabies moved on from their horror night in Lyon

With the Wobblies out now I can undeniably support Fiji!

The Wrap: With Wallabies done and dusted in 15 miserable days, who do we trust to take Australian rugby forward?

Well Bundee won’t be eligible. Who is the fix?

It’s THE game in NZ. In Australia it’s exotic, like waterpolo where the Aussies are similarly ranked in the world.

But is there that much talent?

'F--- mate, what didn't go wrong?' 'Raw, devastated' Wallabies 'got bashed' - players react, Foley weighs in, after disaster

I hope so too!

'F---ing explain some of these decisions': Ex-Wallaby star's scathing Eddie critique, coach defends vision

JP is not intelligent enough for test rugby.

This is no time for X-factor: The Wallabies' challenge is to find a structure to out-structure super-structured Wales

I don’t hate it mate, but it’s not a global sport. Rugby is both mostly global and a great game, I’ll support it even if the WBs suck but yes it’s on life support despite the world cup theatrics compensating.

Five Things: Eddie's mad scientist coaching group exposed - but Wallabies won't fear Wales like Fiji

Then we can come last in a broadened competition!

Five Things: Eddie's mad scientist coaching group exposed - but Wallabies won't fear Wales like Fiji

I scratched my head at that as well!

Offensive Sheek to some of the players in the Aus team who true blue are aussie with Fijian background. Different to being Fijian. Mark is multi ethnic and Australian born. Kerevi was Fijian born but moved to Aus at 4. Koroibete moved to Aus as a teenger and Vunivalu who basically has the same story as Tupou etc.

Imagine if we said the same thing about Anglo players. Why even have an Australia when most players were “Irish” or some other concoction.

Five Things: Eddie's mad scientist coaching group exposed - but Wallabies won't fear Wales like Fiji

Imagine how bad it gets when they don’t want to represent Aus, NZ & anyone else anymore!

But we will forever be champions at rugby league & AFL!

They were quick decisions/ Pocock / Smith would have cleaned up. No one in the WB 23 have the breakdown skills of previous generations.

Yet it disrespects the term “science”.

They just aren’t smart enough. Poor programming. Petaia and White are best examples – prime front foot attack with stupid kicks. Top two inches missing.

The Wrap: Group C fast becoming everyone’s favourite - except for the Wallabies as early flight home looms large

Not at pool stage…

Hope for us to finish 5th consistently in this tournament at current rate.

Both Fiji games very entertaining.

You can only look back so far though. So by the time he allowed the 50:22, I’m not sure th video ref had rights to look that far back.

Frost would be offended by this comment. Slipper also played the wrong side for him. Porecki and Valentino also good.

'Eddie got found out': Jones in spotlight as 'ferocious' Fiji leave Wallabies RWC hopes hanging by thread in 69 year first

Take Skelton and Tupou away from most teams and there goes the penetration. Pack was okay, Frost was exceptional. Slipper brave. McReight added no turnover pressure though and I’m still not sure Arnold is better than Philip etc. Reserve forwards a real step down. Uelese doesn’t even know how to tackle properly.

I felt like the game was lost in the backline. CG manhandled, White and Petaia pointlessly kicking away ball hot on attack, Kerevi lost it a few times on carry. Petaia giving away attacking penalties with poor technique.

Reserve pack a real worry. Where to from here…

Petaia is as bad as Tom Wright w decision making.

Yeah it’s an issue. The key hope is that a global game is more financially rewarding than a largely domestic game.

Genuine question: what do the top 200 players globally make on average in union vs league?
