Only if the Tahs lose.

SPIRO: The Sharks are Super Rugby favourites, with Waratahs and Force closing in

gold!

Greater Western Sydney continue to make up the numbers

Great view Brett, Brumbies seem to be making it hard to shake that White perception.

I’m happy with that win, against a tough opponent in tough conditions. My only disappointment is if the Brumbies continue to play like that every week, which they won’t. Brumibes have more than one game plan, which takes into account oppenents and conditions. Think a few other teams wish they had a plan B, looking at you Reds.

‘Boring Brumbies’ is just lazy criticism

Depends how you expand. Having a Canberra team for example won’t dilute the novely of Aleague as we don’t have a team. Having another Brisbane/Sydney/Melbourne team, yes would dilute there.

A-League expansion should follow successful 2013/14 season

2-0 win, sounds good to me if I was a Chelsea fan. Liverpool falied to adapt or couldn’t. Happens in all sports, AFL, Rugby, Football, defensive teams can actually win. Man Utd have been subjected to this for years and found ways to win, Liverpool need to learn how to grind these types of games out, what makes Championships, not smashing 4 goals past weak teams.

Liverpool v Chelsea: "Game of buses"

Moyes becomes available then Farina sacked…you know what I’m saing.

Farina out - Sydney FC sack Frank Farina

My thoughts exactly when I see island teams mooted. Only way that’s happening is large injection of funds from IRB.

Where to for Australia beyond Super Rugby?

It’s not the concept of players leaving. The concept of setting up a national competition with new teams from scratch and developing it into a viable product. Which it is.
Obviously rugby still needs the stay in Austrlaia to play Wallabies component. That’s not the part of the Aleague talked about.

Where to for Australia beyond Super Rugby?

Think you may be alluding to that belief amonst Geordie fans that Newcastle is a ‘big club’ and should be always competing in Europe and honours. It’s only now that they’ve come to the realisation that they are mid table best and without a big investor coming will remain that way. No shame in that at the moment, hard to compete with the money the big clubs throw around.

Pessimism rife among Toon fans
