Presumably, all the major sponsors of each state team support the call for McLennan’s scalp too. This would include corporate mates like Twiggy (FMG) in WA. ????

As well as being a disgrace to both the spirit & laws of the game, it was dissappointing that the only Stan commentator with the guts to properly call it out was Kiwi Andrew Mehrtens. Good on Mehrts but our Aussie legends & not so were mostly silent on the whole affair. Seems Stan has told everyone “no negativity whatsoever, regardless of the issue”. Well I say poor form! 👎

No, as with the 6 Nations & all other world rugby, we have to rely on beIN Sports via Foxtel.

Most guys still seem to miss the point about losing 6 Nations & European Rugby. I understand these games will continue to be provided by beIN Sports on Foxtel. As well as NRL, AFL, cricket, golf, etc.
Fair dinkum rugby tragics will either keep Foxtel & pay extra for Stan just for Super Rugby or else ditch Foxtel & try to stream the Euro rugger via the buffering-plagued sports internet sites.
In summary, Foxtel losing Super Rugby is a costly & messy disappointment. 👎

Tooly seems to be one of the few highlighting the elephant in the room…. quality access to ALL rugby, especially UK/European rugby on beIN Sport & ESPN occassionally. And don’t forget NRL, NFL, AFL, soccer, golf, tennis, etc.
True rugby tragics will have to continue with Fox for non-ANZAC rugger + STAN for Super Rugby or else mess around with streaming games from spurious websites, complete with buffering & ads.
Having all my rugby & other sports in one place was definitely worth putting up with the current Fox commentary team. Now it gets messy & definitely more costly. 👎
