Listen back to the refs reasonings on the cards. They have a checklist to go through before they ( 4 of them) iinterpret and decide!

I’m no Foster fan, but injuries should more likely be attributed to strength and conditioning coaches.

Ha ha. Saffas are the worst and are a blight on the game..

Bernard Foley and a brief history of time wasting in rugby

Another good editorial argued how Time is more critical in the last few mins.
Anyways, foley had his warnings , took the piss and I’m still pissing myself laughing.

Bernard Foley and a brief history of time wasting in rugby

One Analysis showed a total of 11 “time wasting” warnings to the wannas and only 1 (related to a scrum ) for the ABs

Bernard Foley and a brief history of time wasting in rugby

I hope the many punters who state things like “the jaws of defeat” appreciate the increased importance of time wasting in the final few minutes.
Regardless I’m still laughing at smartass Foley.

Under the Pump: Can Foley back it up? Will Fainga'a find his range? What do we expect from the Barrett bros?

‘At the 69:26 mark, New Zealand were awarded a penalty. Sam Whitelock signed they’ll go to for the posts at 69:40.

Richie Mo’unga slotted the ball for three points at 70:51. That’s a difference of one minute and 24 seconds from when the penalty was awarded and a difference of one minute and 11 seconds when the All Blacks decided to kick for goal.”

Either your maths is incorrect or your ramble is wrong.
According to your first paragraph 14 secs has passed before Whitelock indicates for a kick at goal. Then your last sentence has that “decided to kick for goal” out to 84 secs.

If it has been bothering you all week, you could have read all the analysis and other commentary.
The general consensus is that foley went too far and paid the price. Another added that time in the last few mins was more critical.
If I recall, one analysis had the wannas given a total of 11 warnings for time wasting, while the ABs had one (related to a scrum).

Couldn’t agree more. Rassiez saffy’s bringing the game into disrepute, with slow down tactics, trainers screaming on the sidelines and running on the field every few minutes. I used to very much respect
& fear the Boks, now they are boring and belligerent. Get a new coaching director.

Boks stealing rugby’s soul, not White and Koroibete

Stupid comment.
Who would know except the idiots that do it.
Basically to belittle because he’s doing ok or is a threat is a guess.

The 100th AB SA test to be played in tiny Townsville. Oh well I guess we get a game at least.
Possibly harder dry grounds in NQ ? may suit the ABs. ?

FIXTURES REVEALED: Queensland to host four weeks of rugby heaven as TRC locked in

I agree, sadly wannas don’t have the cattle now, competing with AFL and league and neglected issues long ago. The were relying on a top down approach expecting the wannas to win and gain support from sponsors and fans alike.
Those days are gone and other countries have found ways to win in the new game such as Wales under Warrenball. Even Scotland have found a way with some exciting rugby. Along with the Argies battling through and France getting consistent.
So others are ranked better and Aus has got much more competition. Can’t see them improving for a while. Yes they can get 15 or 23 half decent players and win some but getting consistent wins will be a tough ask.

What the Wallabies can learn from the Springboks and All Blacks

ABs postponed also.

The Bledisloe bungle: A self-inflicted curse on both our houses

Nah, you got the balance wrong there.
Wannas knew they were going to play 2 games and be ok to return home. Clean and clear.
AB situation was way more complex.

The Bledisloe bungle: A self-inflicted curse on both our houses

If you cared to investigate more thoroughly you would find that it wasn’t about Covid in WA.

The Bledisloe bungle: A self-inflicted curse on both our houses

I consider that winning is more critical in the view of some countries like Eng and SA especially and that culture has affected a few players and fans alike.
So, for example when Farrel isn’t penalised for a no arms tackle in a critical match he is seem to be “favoured” by the NH powers. Instances like this creates division.
So, As the prize is higher so is the intensity of the culture and desire to win.
RWC is a classic example
(and it has devalued tests in the between years, as it has risen in prestige –
I would be happy if the RWC did not exist as if is now the be all and end all , and there is much luck, involved in the finals draw – such as SA benefitting Last time around.
Rugby, and fans in the end, loses.

All Blacks combinations are improving, but not all the gaps are closed

Oh poor Bobby baby , go back to bed.

Which All Blacks World Cup was more significant: 2011 or 2015?

Match report: Lions roar back to down Springboks in first Test

Some great and close 1/4s and well fought out semis. Loved the Final and Japan team display in pool play but cancellation of Games, Red cards and Inconsistent reffing spoilt the fantastic hospitality of the hosts.
Also Englands petulance was poor sportsmanship and disrespectful to all especially the hosts. So overall not the best in my opinion.

Was this the best ever Rugby World Cup?

Easy run. Yep Absolutely agree.
The first loss galvanised them then an easy run after that to the final.
The tournament set up doesn’t always yield the best team yet that’s the way it is.
Congratulations to a great win on the day. It was like a test of old but SA undoubtably given an easy run. Enjoyed it all the same.

This is the greatest Springboks team of all time
