PRINCIPLE 1. Keeping the same people who was entrusted with decision-making powers on Australian rugby but blundered so badly, and then expecting the a DIFFERENT result is utter stupidity if not insanity.

Never bet against the AllBlacks in a game that really matters. This was one of them.

The first thing that must be done is to remove Hamish McLennan and his unthinking nutheads in the RA Board. They gotta go… and go now, not one month later or one year later.
At the present Australian rugby is in dire straits with these clowns overseeing the rugby code. As a once premier rugby nation, we are now seen as a joke in the rugby world.. Starting with a SUDDEN recruiting a Wallabies coach in Jan 2023 by MCLennan and his clowns in the RA Board, who took the coaching job for the Wallabies while on the side was having interviews to be a headcoach of the Japanese team.
That shows how smart are the clowns in the RA Board in their decision making for Australian rugby.

I will be cheering for FIJI and SPRINGBOKS to win tomorrow morning.
Why? So that this RWC becomes solely a SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE affair and we can then treat the Northern Hemisphere 6-Nation games as just a second class rugby competition.
There is one Southern Hemisphere team missing here. I heard it got booted out much earlier. Can’t remember which one.

I don’t understand why even Kiwis somehow gave up on the ABs in the RWC, perhaps because of their doubts on Fosters as coach.
I have watched so many of ABs games since 1960s. The Kiwis take to rugby like ducks take to water.
Of course there will be ups and downs. But they don’t go down so easily. Like ducks they learn to survive on stormy waters when it matters.

The word that is never found in the Wallabies dictionary. Or rather the Wallabies players don’t know the meaning of DISCIPLINE or they never heard of the word before.

One week ago, I wrote inhere that I put my money for AllBLACKS to beat Ireland.
This is what I said a week ago:
My money is on the AllBlacks will be in the SemiFinal.ABs has pedigree. ABs mental toughness and having been in a fiery cauldron of “do or die” many times, will bring it across the line.Ireland is just a new kid on the block not fully tested when it really matters. Quarterfinal is a new ball game.
Those of you who disagreed with me, lost money to me.
Ireland played well. But not good enough.

All the more now the urgency to sack Hamish McLennan and the RA Board for their disastrous decision made in Jan 2023 which up-ended the Walllabies’ preparation for the 2023 World Cup put in place by Dave Rennie for more than two years.. and did not even allow Dave Rennie to finish his job in the RWC
The incompetence of the RA Board is in the domain of idiocy – Two reasons:
First: the humiliation at 2023 RWC that befell on a twice Rugby World Champion. That was already bad enough
b. And now, the departure of the RA’s parachuted candidate to replace Dave Rennie as Wallabies as coach in less than a year.
What does that tell you of an apex board supposedly to paid to MAKE GOOD DECISIONS as a steward of Australian rugby? HOPELESSNESS…. CLUELESS. and LACK of DUE DILIGENCE.
And what did we get? BAD policy decision-making by the BOARD OF RA.
There is severe trust-deficit in the current makeup of the RA Board to turn around the Wallabies’s fortunes to be in time for 2027 RWC.
There is only one viable solution to all this. The RA BOARD must go…. and go NOW.

If sacking Eddie Jones is NOT the answer. At least sack the RA Board.
Heads must roll for this absolute disaster in Australian rugby. It can’t be more humiliating to a once-2 times World Champion than to depend on lowly Portugal to win big so that Australia can slip through into the Quarterfinal. Its a disgrace.
If there is no stomach to have somebody’s head on the chopping block for this humiliation on the world stage, then it means we in Australia condones FAILURE, encourages MEDIOCRITY and does not believe in a thing called ACCOUNTABILITY. And its OK not to do anything and to continue on wearing a dunce cap.
This unwillingness to call out publicly those responsible for this fiasco is termed journalistic cowardice… for reasons only known to those with power to influence opinions. Enough said.

Fiji played Fishy Rugby against Portugal.Even if Portugal won, it won’t be in the Quarterfinal. But Fiji is guaranteed if it won.
Instead it lost to lower rung Portugal.
AND YET: FIJI
Almost won against Wales ( the team that beat Australia)
Beat Australia .first time in more than 69years
Beat Georgia..
Yet lost to Portugal.. Fiji played so badly (like a schoolboy rugby team) as though it wanted Portugal to win.
Something is not right.
