Yep thats the problem, the salary he is currently on, no team in the league can afford a 10m player at this time, the only way i see him moving is if a team retains salary at this current point, however, it is very hard to see this happen at this current time, maybe at the trade deadline the Sabres can pick up a bad contract and a few 1st rounders for him.

Penguins overcome Rangers
I personally don’t see the Sabres making the playoffs for atleast another 3-5 years. They don’t have the depth currently and don’t have starpower if they do decide to let go of Jack Eichel, plus goaltending is also something they need.
