I think you have hit the nail on the head with your comment about Matthew Elliott. I’m hoping he can turn them around and will be pleasantly surprised if they do. I don’t think the Warriors problems are physical given the assembly line of junior players coming through their ranks. The issues are predominantly mental or appear to be. If Elliott doesn’t work out Owen Glenn and Eric Watson need to throw the house at Wayne Bennett, Des Hasler or Craig Bellamy. Reading between the lines last time around it seems they probably sounded out all the major candidates but couldn’t get them across the ditch. Next time they need to make one of them an offer they can’t refuse.

Enjoyed your outside the box thinking. If the West Indies are anything to go on the biggest issue will be getting along with each other although cost would be an even bigger issue. Still I would love to see Broncos v Polynesia.
