Yep. Totally agree. Has the size, engine, and smarts to be the next George Smith. Only reason he didn’t make it this year was residency issues, which I understand is no long a problem after Super next year. Far more dominant at Fraser. Wallabies be silly not to take the Gamble!

I think the majority of the country agrees with this sentiment Willie.
Except for a few old dogs that hang around the top of the NZRU. The same blokes who told RA to get rid of some super teams, told SARU to go north and told Fozzy he is confirmed for another two years before the tour last year.
It would be dreamy for Fozz to resign. But my gut says they will lay the blame on Cane first. Subbing the captain in the last 20 mins of the most important match in recent history is as clear a vote of no confidence as any.
So it’s with a heavy heart, that I say… I think Fozz will stick around to take us to a two nil loss against the Springboks.
From there… as much as we all want Razor, I actually think Joe Schmidt will be asked to step up given he is inside camp already.
Interestingly he coached the team in the first test while Fozz and others had Covid. The only test we won.
Anyone think Joe Schmidt and Razor could work together? I’m not against it.
On a final note: Ardie should go back to 7, continue being the best 7 in the country, probably lead the team, and make way for a big 8… Sotutu/Grace. Cane off to Japan. A great player, just not great enough.
