The right decision so lets move on and play. It does seem though there are Wallaby supporters who are so desperate for a win that should a wrong decision be made, they’ll justify it by whatever means necessary. Sad.

Aussie rugby is getting what they deserve after they were the instigators of a conference system super rugby format which hid their shortcomings to some degree. Even now, there are Wallaby supporters who want nothing more than an aussie comp because of no other reason other than an aussie team will win. If that’s how you think aussie rugby will advance, then keep your head in the sand and wait for the Bledisloe streak to hit 50.

It’s been said here that not many expected the Aussie teams to be winless at this stage. That may be true in Oz but here in Godzone, it’s exactly what most people here expected. Watching both comps at the time, it was clear Super Rugby AU was slower and less physical than NZ and that is now being shown up to be correct. I agree with those that have already stated the Oz rugby needs to get real about itself and look at its shortcomings in the way they play the game, then and only then can you guys move forward.

Rest assured that if big Joe Moody had struck Beale to the head or throat with any sort of reasonable force, Beale would not have got up without help from the paramedics. Beale exaggerated the contact when he went to ground but it was a bad miss by the officials not to pick that up. Should have been a penalty to the Tahs and a yellow card for Moody. No one can say the aussies would have gone on to win but it sure would have made things harder for the Saders. Doesn’t excuse the ‘big game’ choke by the Tahs though.

Lolesio was exposed as being green and inept against the AB’s. Quade Copper has suffered a similar fate many times against the same opposition so Rennie is banking on experience to help with better decision making. That said, Cooper can’t tackle so Rennie will need tactics to hide him on the field.
