Kaino and Akira Ioani should have been a straight swap, he is only now getting a chance at 6.

There's no way around it anymore – Ian Foster must go

20 years.. In the 90’s Wallabies, Boks, and England had good success as Did the AB’s Perhaps everyone is also getting a bit better. That Pumas team would have beaten most teams playing like that.

Not sure sure what kind of proof you are really going to get other than subjective reasoning. We are really at the beginning of players leaving our shores for O.S. contracts before they become great Players, How about Nemani Nandolo who couldn’t get a gig at the Tahs? Beal came back with more confidence. The Tah’ s are not renowned for their high performance standards and their amazing team Culture as the Crusaders, and Saries are. He has improved and has found the right combination for him. As he will be a test case no one yet knows how that will transfer in a Wallabies performance but we want the best performing team, why not give him a go.

No change in law for Skelton rugby return

George Smith has just retired from the game after 20 years at the top, David Pocock is retiring from Super Rugby after 10 years. Let that sink in. That in itself says a great deal. He has been at the top level for twice the time. I can remember George Smith saving the wallabies with turnovers against AB’s and SA’s stealing balls running great lines, giving great balls, working hard behind a forward pack that lacked go forward, slowing the breakdown, carrying distributing. He played at a time when the Wallabies still on occasion beat the AB’s. In a team that was the second or third best in the world. He started playing two years before Richie, and has now just retired. Richie played in the best team in the world with the best players, including a very dominant forward pack, while ours struggled, he played in a the best and most successful team in any code ever. Richie had 145 super caps for the Crusaders and 148 for the Ab’s which is amazing. Yes he holds that record and many other accolades which he no doubt deserves. He was a great Player in a great team, where all the players in each position bettered their counterparts whenever they played, he was looking good as was everyone else in the team doing their job providing the platform for him, he was always going to look good. George was in the opposite position, he started 2 years before Richie, and has now just retired 5 years after him. He finished with 142 caps at the Brumbs and 22 at the Reds, 164 super caps in all. 111 caps for Oz plus Toulon 30, Suntory 67, Stade Francais 8 Lyon 25, Wasps 26, Bristol 23 and he played 6 times for the BaBa’s. D.P. has 112 with the Force and Brumbs. and 15 with Panasonic plus his 76 caps with Oz. G.S. was a player that almost always got an 8/10 in every game he played at super level and in his test performances he stood out. His match up with R.M. were fantastic duels. He has twice won super trophies both at the Brumbies.
It would be great to see his stats for run meters, turnovers, try setups, turnovers and slowing the play at the ruck chip kicked grubber kicked. To compare them to R.M.and D.P. would be telling, and when he played with and against them he more than held his own. With all due respect to R.M. and D.P. who are fantastic players George has proved himself in more countries, in different settings, over a far Longer period. Also playing for National team that was always second or third to SA or the AB’s. He posed a greater threat with ball in hand and in the ruck, he became a more complex and complete player with a more diverse skill set and great vision. He gets my vote.

Why David Pocock is the best Wallaby of the post-Larkham era
