I’ve turned my back once before only to be turned around, so yoou never know. That being said, I can’t really imagine me referring to Gal as anything but a d*ckhead going forward.
Rugby league's full-circle relationship with Paul Gallen
Hannant was a huge loss.
Gold Coast Titans will benefit from Broncos' short-sightedness
Which is a huge shame because he has buckets of talent. Hopefully he can repeat his 2012 form and win the Dally M again one day.
Gold Coast Titans will benefit from Broncos' short-sightedness
This is something I wholeheartedly disagree with. He’s been on the end of arguably the best backline league has seen (Maroons) and was part of the best Dragons backline in the last decade. IMO he’s never been a standout player by any stretch.
Gold Coast Titans will benefit from Broncos' short-sightedness
I would say he’s at the very least on par with Darius Boyd in terms of ability at the back. Boyd’s ability is horrendously overestimated.
Gold Coast Titans will benefit from Broncos' short-sightedness
If you’re implying he’s got a big head, I couldn’t disagree more. A player that’s been mistreated for a long time by a club he’s bled for since joining. He’s never done anything but work as hard as he could for the broncs.
Gold Coast Titans will benefit from Broncos' short-sightedness
It’s a shame Mac picked up an injury when Australia was on the cusp of trundling two spinners in the same team…
The almost-weres: A 'not quite' Australian XI
Hodge would have been just as great if he was playing with Ponting rather than instead of him. There was always room for both of them. There is daylight between Hodge and the next best ‘unlucky’ batsman.
The almost-weres: A 'not quite' Australian XI
But they fined him in place of giving him the sack. a ‘big’ fine like that makes it look like they’ve punished him enough
Rugby league's full-circle relationship with Paul Gallen
The worst games are night games at Olympic Park. Embarrassingly low attendance and a 45-minute trip home at ~10pm. I live very close to central station, but even i find it hard to get motivated to go to a game out there.
I don't like Mondays: NRL should follow AFL's common sense example
I would expect him to view player well-being differently now he’s on the other side of the coaches glass.
Stop worrying and learn to love international rugby league
I agree with the beginning of the innings being the prime time to score against spin-heavy attacks, but replacing the top order with unproven, typically short-form players that are good against spin presents more of a vulnerability than having a solid, defensive batsman opening.
It's time for Australian cricket to go back to what works
So a group of people that (arguably) has the sole purpose of moving the game forward and keeping up with the progression of other codes needs to drag the game back in time to the days of biff and the shoulder charge?
Origin was great, now it's time for the NRL to lift its game
I agree with the hypocrisy of the sponsorship. How can a comp that has the majority of their games sponsored and/or prefixed by ‘Wild Turkey Super Saturday’ etc take the high ground when handing out punishments for alcohol-influenced behaviour?
10 common sense changes the NRL should make
I’ve never agreed with anything on this website more than this.
Origin was great, now it's time for the NRL to lift its game
What exactly is it that people expect from the commission and especially Todd Greenberg etc? There’s a lot of finger pointing going on, but it’s never about anything in particular.

Although I’m confused by you alluding to Reynolds being a reason souths will win the premiership after saying blues should forget about him.
Five massive overreactions from Round 1 of the NRL
Couldn’t agree more RE Rabbits; I seriously reckon they’ll finish unbeaten without peer at the top of the table.
Five massive overreactions from Round 1 of the NRL
I think he was referring to their cocky attitudes being the same, which is spot on.
Is Kyrgios Australia's tennis saviour?
I wouldn’t mind seeing wholesale changes. I’m going to Boxing Day so I would love to get a draw in Perth and have the winning team back at the G to regain the urn.
Aussie quick Coulter Nile must play in Perth
And an even more apt description of Steve Smith’s unwatchable dismissal.
Forget talent, it’s time to master ruthlessness
Apologies, if we’re comparing only one series between an experienced player and a debutant, I’ll take your method (if you don’t mind) and sumise that Shikhar Dhawan is a more valuable batsman than Tendulkar because he scored 187 in his first test knock, the same innings in which Tendulkar managed 37. I won’t highlight the fact that Dhawan’s current test batting average of 81 makes him inarguably better than Sachin too.
Drop Bailey for Faulkner at Adelaide
Surprised Tim Sheens is still coaching Australia to be totally honest.
