I’m not the one whining you are. I’m not telling anyone to do anything. I never agreed with the imperialist agenda of USA and the invasion of Afghanistan. But the fact is nearly every country has invaded, committed “thugging, looting” as you so eloquently put. Included your beloved India. In-fact, pretty sure the Mughal empire originated from Afghanistan/Uzbekistan. Which is an irony most likely lost upon you. Humans are just not that great overall. Anyways, I’m not going to engage anymore as you are emotive and oversimplify complex geopolitics for your own personal interests.

'Succumbing to political influences': Afghanistan rips into Cricket Australia after abandoning tour

Your ignorance on Australian history and your prior commentary is frankly frightening and somewhat disturbing. Modern Australia was started as a colony of convicts (I’m not referring to the 60,000 years of continual Aboriginal civilisation). Why are you commenting on an Australian sports website at all if you feel this way? You are a walking contradiction. CA doesn’t have to tour any country if it wants. I would think the reasons of wanting female sports is a pretty decent one. And no one reasonable here thinks that the ICC is a perfect body. If you don’t like it the onus is on YOU to make a reasonable alternative proposal to governance. Reading your prior comments however, I’m am not sure reasonable comments are within your grasp.

Certainly aren’t blessed with talent like we were in the shield days of the 90s/early 2000s. I do think Chandrasinghe has some potential, although FC scores are a bit middling

Carey the clutch king: Gloveman's stunning 98, Cummins heroics keep Kiwi curse alive in thrilling comeback win

While there is a lot of unfortunate hyperbole and vitriol as soon as Australia begins to lose against quality sides, I mean come on Shamar Joseph was incredible – there is a good argument to be had about the batting performance. I think there can be a middle ground of healthy discussion about some of the top order batters being out of form and whether the lineup changes worked out. That being said, hindsight is 20/20.

It is funny and you should learn to lighten up from time to time.

Triple threat Abbott steps out of Big Three's shadow with all-round excellence to save Australia's bacon against Windies

You almost could make a case that it is West Australian bias that keeps Stoinis in the first string ODI side

As much as it pains me to admit it, 2 all seems fair. I don’t think either side deserved the win. While the new ball was a farce, that was an umpiring howler and really due to ENG. I have read a lot of comments here and on other forums and the myopic viewpoint that ENG were better is just plain wrong. Incredibly close series, but exactly the same position they landed in 2019 – begs the question what has Bazball achieved? In terms of critical views of AUS, this is why this team will never go down as a great team – skill set is up there with some of the best but just played with a bit too much tentativeness and tactical nativity. In my view, interesting discussion about captains. For my mind Clarke was one of the best strategic and attacking captains. However, seemed like a terrible leader and people manager. The inverse appears to be the case with Cummins. I guess what is the qualities that leads to better success? Too much to ask for all of the leadership qualities in one package I suppose.

Mate, good win for the All Blacks but how about you go to a NZ sports page? No one is really interested in your pathetic ad hominem

He really is an open-minded and unassuming fellow isn’t he.

Weather they like it or not, England only have themselves to blame for Australia being raining Ashes champs

My money is on Marsh. I reckon that leaves Green still at 7, promote Carey up the order.

So batting it looks like
M Marsh/Uzi
Labs
Smith
Carey
Green

Head's heroic half-ton gives Aussies fighting chance as England quicks make hay in seam-bowling heaven

There was a lot of commentary in the live score Roar article with a few expressing their displeasure with Green not rotating the strike.

REPORT: 'Have to thank him' - Carey pays tribute to AFL icon after breakthrough century continues Aussie dominance

I’d concur completely. Labs determination is admirable but he’s had so much luck go his way, he’d eventually nick one like today. Striving to save your wicket is admirable but they’re meant to be the top batsman with the shot selection to go with it.

Numbers show Smith in midst of biggest form slump since 2013

I would say it’s a slump. But only because of his normal lofty standards. His hand eye coordination seems shot and now when he is walking across the wicket he seems so vulnerable to nicking or hitting his off stump. I’d like him just to be confident in playing the offside and trust his technique a bit more.

It definitely should’ve been a no try, even though it was unlikely Isaako would’ve gotten there.
But considering that Brisbane were awarded a try that was clearly a forward pass, and knights were denied a try due to knock on that went clearly backwards then the bunkers usual inconsistently was at least even
