I believe he was the one who confronted Ciraldo about the reported brutal training. Some of the players asked hik to speak on their behalf
Smart Signings: The Bulldogs have signed so many players - so why haven't they solved their biggest problem?
I would have thought with all these signings they woulf have prioritised keeping Averillo first
Dogs add another four as Gus' signing spree lands two Roosters, a Knight and a Dolphin
I think Eels would gladly take him backk
Smart Signings: The Bulldogs have signed so many players - so why haven't they solved their biggest problem?
To be honest he is in a team gong that well he can afford to be arrogant. I personally see at more as confidence in his abilities and that he mostly harmless. If he was in a bad team then it would come across bad. I dislike the tendency to have to tear people down when they are doing well for themselves
'When I speak up for myself, people say I'm the bad guy': How Jarome Luai learned to love the haters
Ok so there are a few things to unpack about Hunt and the Dragons. Hunt is saying he is accepted he is staying although he wants to return to QLD. He knew where he would be when he re-signed so thats just dumb IMO. I get that this is about Hook getting hooked.. but everyone knew the writing was on the wall about that one. it just seems to me a grown man throwing a tanty for not getting their way. Now Dragons are committing to keeping him and we all know he is gun player, but is it worthwhile for team morale to keep a player that had publicly said they want out and can’t wait to leave… I feel like this will just further set them back
NRL News: Hunt denies he is 'held hostage' as he commits to Dragons, Dogs apply for NRLW license, Cult props may swap places
I think Slater too and he has the makings of a great coach, but its a tough act to follow IMO
Storm lack impact in their pack - and mounting injury toll spells trouble for any hope of challenging for title
On a more serious note, i def think they lost a fair bit when Smith retired, but the key will be when Bellamy finishes up. Best of luck to whoever follows him
Storm lack impact in their pack - and mounting injury toll spells trouble for any hope of challenging for title
Dont you mean the NRL Triumvirate? Because cons.pricary something, something…

Who keeps the metric system down?
NRL Finals Talking Points: Hard to send a player off for biting, Knights on a roll but Panthers vs Broncos GF looks inevitable
So you are saying its now a Quadrumvirate now? All we need is a 5h member and we can start talking about the five families like any good organised crime story
NRL Finals Talking Points: Hard to send a player off for biting, Knights on a roll but Panthers vs Broncos GF looks inevitable
Yeah fair point. I would persist with Hands and see how he develops. It makes me wonder if Mahoney regrets going over to the dogs given how that has ended up this year.
Where to now for Parramatta? After finishing well short of expectations, Eels need to add element of unpredictability
Mitchell will stay, his buddy wighton is coming to party it up next year
NRL News: Demetriou denies Souths rift rumours, Tigers roasted over Brooks BBQ, Andrew Fifita makes unlikely return
Could be by end of next round, Fox do love to act like the world is ending for every team missing the finals. Then again if/when Manly beat Bulldogs this week then Fox will be call it a masterstroke by Flanagan.
Round 26 Team Lists Late Mail: Sharks cop huge blow, Papi close to return after year out, Manly axe Schuster, Raiders trio in doubt
I’m not that keen on self-punishment 😂
I feel like the nine footy shows and 360 just try to out hyperbole each other because they have nothing meaningful to say
Round 24 Preview Talking Points: Does NRL care about WA? no love for O’Brien, whopping bans and Nine's secret Saturdays
Interesting about Channel 9 and the Saturday games. It feels like broadcasting the games is secondary nowadays and all they care about it the tabloid and click baiting news supplemented by the standard Gus outrage.
Round 24 Preview Talking Points: Does NRL care about WA? no love for O’Brien, whopping bans and Nine's secret Saturdays
I cant see the Tigers giving up the Wooden Cutlery, would need to win at least 3 and hope Saints remain winless
NRL Power Rankings: Parra falls, Sharks skyrocket and Souths in the last chance saloon
So can we just go ahead and rename this series as NRL Potential Rankings?

ANALYSIS: Brown sent off for horror high shot but backline fires Roosters to victory over Manly
Yeah I agree. Heres hoping that Gus doesn’t live in a glass house… I am thinking that a fair deal about what he is saying is deflect from the Bulldogs. He has taken shots at Cowboys, Rabbits and now Broncos. Great smoke and mirrors ploy IMO
Who needs a seven-year plan when you have Kevvie? Cartwright rightfully tells Gus to stay in his lane
Lol wont hinder their chances to avoid consecutive spoons. The only thing that will hinder that is actually playing like a team of professional athletes who are paid as such
NRL News: Annesley admits Titans dudded by ref blunder, Tigers block out civil war, refreshed Teddy can save Roosters' season
It is really great to see the Warriors doing well and be so consistent. Not a supporter but I like what they are doing and its nice to see other non-supporters happy for them too
ANALYSIS: Warriors set sights on top four after statement win to expose Sharks as NRL's biggest flat-track bullies
Manly are so lucky they were able to keep Schuster from all those other teams thats were offering him big money…
ANALYSIS: Manly might be done - but don't count out the Cowboys after Brookie domination
Its crazy because he seemed to have a great attitude at Parra. I wonder if its the culture of the Tigers that inspires Apathy or some players truly are going there for the payday
ANALYSIS: Sharks stutter against spirited Tigers, but second half rally keeps Cronulla in top four hunt
I kind of feel like Tigers players started their strike about 10 years ago…
Players launch all-out media boycott against NRL as CBA negotiations take dramatic twist
That’s a great point. I would think they should be settled with their side by Round 4 and then stick with it, with only serious injuries requiring changes. It would seem the utility splurge was the result of the injuries they had last year but I can’t seem them being that unlucky 2 years straight
Kurt, Connor, Jaeman, Drew and Blake: Will the Bulldogs be jacks of all trades but masters of none?
