I feel the same way about rugby video games as I do about my Melbourne Rebels membership. I’m happy to pay because I want to support the endeavour and I really want it to be successful but in the end it is just a good chunk of money thrown away in foolish optimism.
The first match is usually disappointing, the next few contain almost no good rugby at all, and after five or six I am pretty much ready to give up entirely and wait for next year.
