agree pete , wasnt a fan of his blatent ducking early on at pies and i was embarassed by it ,a young brash upstart was my opinon of him , however found myself supporting him more as the afl/ umpires and wider football public put the blinkers on .sometime he duks others he doesnt .

Umpires' anti-Ginnivan bias has reached a new low - it's time for the AFL to step in

i didnt watch the game ,i would lean to the battling team on most games wether thats off field or on, plus dont know in this case but also seeing youngsters giving their all .i dont hate any club so enjoy my footy more than when i did have hatetred for some clubs

Six Points: Commonsense solution to score review influx, and why this star Tiger should get two weeks

we have the duddley street bridge in west melb that seems to get hit by an oversized vehicle every other day .supposedly brings the whole road network into chaos according to our news services .ha

'Bad blood': Swan sidelined after alleged dispute with teammate

frampton will/is gaining a bit of respect peter they way hes going .not a star but i can see much more imrovement in him as season goes on

Footy Fix: The worst grand final rematch ever just proves the Pies have slightly fewer problems than Brisbane

i was waiting for mason to call it quits in the third quater but he stuck at it physically all night and his game was a very workman like effort without the possesions for four quaters ,he wouldnt go away ,frampton can hold his head high so far this year .confidence and belief look much better this year .something i think was a focus from coaches over summer as he has more ability than what he showed in grand final .

Footy Fix: The worst grand final rematch ever just proves the Pies have slightly fewer problems than Brisbane

yes i agree has a long way to go ,i should have clarified that he looks much more confidant in his own ability at the level now after not being gifted games on the hype early on and went back to reserves to learn.cheers

Six Points: Papley's hypocrisy, Wright's Tribunal verdict the wrong call, and why are we retiring Pendlebury?

not sure if beveridge is the one to take dogs to next level but has to be acknowledged that he didnt rush ugle hagen and bow to media pressure to play him and made him wait to develope dispite the media trying to beat up a storm about it ,hes been vindicated and may well be the same with young darcy also

Six Points: Papley's hypocrisy, Wright's Tribunal verdict the wrong call, and why are we retiring Pendlebury?

agree he will add a lot to bombers

Footy Fix: 'Essendon Edge' can't fix the Bombers' long list of flaws - but it's a start

bombers will need time ,,scott will / is fixing attitude first .they will be much better at the mcg .if they do get going martin will be moved back towards the forward half to help meritt with goals and forwad entry

Footy Fix: 'Essendon Edge' can't fix the Bombers' long list of flaws - but it's a start

the only people who look more inept and devoid of confidence than boundry and goal umpires in the afl at moment are the pies senior players

Footy Fix: 'Essendon Edge' can't fix the Bombers' long list of flaws - but it's a start

not defending the incidents that are being refered too but our game has and always will have grey areas , i think its something the officials running the game use to their advantage

Footy Fix: 'Essendon Edge' can't fix the Bombers' long list of flaws - but it's a start

starting at a trump rally rowdy?

Footy Fix: The Crows played 2024's dumbest game against the AFL's smartest team - and it was ghastly

this is correct danger and dusty both great players ,danger went missing in a lot of big games/finals where as dusty thrived in them

Six Points: Meet the AFL's dumbest team, and the most ridiculous ban in MRO history

you can do it macca! i agree totally with your comments.all fair and very valid points, cheers

Footy Fix: Don't panic just yet, Pies fans... but there's now a blueprint to bring the premiers down

the club doing a lot of things wright on and off the field the last couple of years Knoxy which gave us our flag, our past history will always be there and haters are gunna always hate

'In hindsight I should have stopped': Cox apologises over pre-match Giants coach altercation after AFL's 'please explain'

true don,,many pieces of the puzzle needed not just big names to make a good team

AFL News: 'Not a star' - Cornes slams Dons' monster extension for defender, Pies moving on from flag success

ive often thought of a game back at a traditional ground for the diehard members/ supporters chanon,if games can be played at alicesprings and drawin etc why not. iknow the answer is money but to truely revisit a ground like the whitten oval would be a great event.the experience of tribal surburban grounds in vic is a very special experience, the corporates would highjack the event so somehow a ballot of past members and known grassroots suppoorters get prefference to attend,, iknow very pie in the sky.

Compromised integrity: Is 2024 the year the AFL finally goes too far with their fixture tampering?

Stewart is a modern day great, can understand attending 1 or 2 centre bounces at a critical time of a game which he did during 2023 but oppo coaches would love him out of the cats backline

Cats toying with shock switch for All-Australian defender: 'It can only benefit the team'

hope he makes full recovery ,great player when in form , a lot of time to think while in rehab , i was expecting him to bounce back to his best next season and then stay at dogs not so sure now.he will be well looked after by dogs medicos and other staff ,that may sway his thinking regarding staying or going .if dogs still want him of course

Dogs superstar's season all but over before it starts after heartbreaking training mishap

ive liked grimes as a player , got to see a lot of him with tigers on tv fri and sat nights , early on in his career he always seemed getting hamstring / calf injuries and his afl time looked like it could have been over before he truely edtablished himself , think he was close to giving it away at one point because of it . he stuck to it and became a great player ,at his peak rarely beaten in tight one v one contests .

Grimes makes surprise captaincy call as Tigers roll with sole skipper

you maybe right about moore going to the forward line , but from what ive seen of him there for an agile athletic player he has a very wide turning circle and he wasnt sent to the backline to bolster the defence, the coaches saw he wasnt going to make it as a forward

Magpies ace suffers long-term injury with entire 2024 season in doubt

was looking forward to seeing him add more to the forwards next year, hopefully recovers fully with no complications.

Magpies ace suffers long-term injury with entire 2024 season in doubt

these stories make you feel sick in the guts no matter what player or club

Magpies ace suffers long-term injury with entire 2024 season in doubt

appears a couple of posters have begun a gruelling preseason ,has p.t.s been kicked to the undercard ,, come on pete maccas waiting ,haha

COMMENT: Congratulations, AFL - 'Opening Round' is the dumbest thing you've ever done

im not sure which would be harder for the young ones
of today ,young elite sports people not taking drugs while in compitition or young people not pokeing their tongue out
