Just curious – out of the $2.6 million profit the Blues made, how much of that was in poker machine revenue? Given North have taken a social stance on this issue and have no poker machines it may be a better companion to know this figure

Brendon Bolton was crucified to save SOS's sins

Wouldn’t that be nice! I think North should go after Ratten

Dear North Melbourne

I don’t think the bump on David King was a bad look at all. If I were Scotty I would have ran right through the sniper. As a North Melbourne member, I have never been overly fond of Brad Scott”s selections and game day coaching at times and agree it’s time for a change and some fresh air. Despite this, Brad Scott’s love and dedication to the club has been undeniable. He has always put the club first and the circumstances surrounding his exit are testament to that. He has shown pure class in offering to step aside. For David King to write an article and refer to Brad Scott as a “visitor” in the club after he has given his heat and soul to North Melbourne for near 10 years was way out of line. This coming from a man that hasn’t stepped foot in the club for years. What a hypocrite.

Dear North Melbourne

So a coach at AUSKICK can go out there and tell the kids that it is ok to change direction, lift yourself off the ground, raise your elbow and hit a player in the head but you can’t perform a legitimate bump while trying to shepherd a player that results in an accidental head clash. These decisions defy logic to me. It’s a shame the cameras didn’t pick up the incident earlier in the match where Ablett whacked Kayne Turner in the head 80 metres off the ball. Happened dead set in front of us and is what prompted the booing from North fans, but hey, it’s Gary Ablett, he’s protected and the little sniper lives to play another week
