What an exciting front four Adelaide ended the game with. Mohamed Toure, Kusini Yengi, Pacifique Niyongabire and the returning Nathan Konstandopoulos. The future looks bright for the Reds.
Home fans spurred us on against City – Reds boss Veart
Enjoyed your article AA but have to question your statement that players from Brazil traditionally struggle in the A League. Just taking Adelaide United, we have had Fernando Rech, Cristiano, Cassio, Alemao and Diego Walsh, who all excelled in the A League. We will forget Romario. Further afield in South America we have enjoyed Marcelo Carrusca, Marcos Flores, Jeronimo Neumann and Francisco Usucar. Lots of talent there. Whilst the club have had strikers Bruce Djite and Sergio van Dijk, I must admit that I would have loved to have had a tough, physical goal scorer such as Besart Berisha.
