Mark Ella
Watched 1984 Grand Slam on portable B/W TV in student digs in Bathurst. Saw his comeback season with Randwick late 1980s. The best.
George Smith
Could do it all and then some. Humble genius.
George Gregan
Not the best no. 9 by a long shot, but the fiercest competitor and astute tactician.
Totai Kefu
Hard as nails, silky smooth on his feet.
John Eales
Leadership, amazing lineout skills. Good in the tight. Goal kicking

My five favourite Wallabies of all time

The best game I have ever seen Michael Hooper play. That’s leadership. Great win

Wallabies beat All Blacks after dominant second half in Bledisloe 1

That tackle wss no different to the one Smith was yellow carded for on AAC the previous week.

Quade Cooper has a shocker as All Blacks hammer the Wallabies

I’m sorry..But this assertion that Cooper is somehow the bad guy and failed is just lazy thinking. The rot started at the breakdown. It got to the rudiculous point where once in the first half, Skelton was first to the breakdown. He duly planted his hands on the ground ahead of the ball to support his massive frame and was pinged for it. question is..why was he first there?
i watched the game on replay and it was like a blooper reel. passes behind the man, no cleanout, stupid kicks (by everyone but Cooper), missed tackles (none I saw by Cooper)
hooper ineffectual at ruck…Didn’t seem to know when to go in and have a go. .And when he did he was blown away.
The problem was Skelton did nothing and neither did Palu. big guys..no impact.
And some say that 1at half pass from cooper over the sideline somehow indicates he’s out of his depth. ..If AAC was in position rather than coming in to clean out (which was unnecessary considering Cooper got his arm free). .Then he would have been off down the touchline.
The mess started up front.
