India never had such a great quick attack 5 years back but they produced great wickets.
I think last 5 years wickets have been bad and it also produces poor batsman.
You don’t need green wickets nor turning sand deserts to produce wicket taking bowlers. Bumrah and Shami as well as Siraj as shown they can fetch wickets all over world. But honestly the quality of batsman India produced has gone down very badly, from Sehwag, Sachin, Drvaid, Laxman and Ganguly who all can play spinner at ease to players who cant handle them.
world evolves so do we, so some countries emerge stronger and then weaker. Its always good that not one country dominate the scene.

I think these pitches are great. But I’d want India to loose all the matches.
India used to have great batting but poor pace bowling.
Indian pace bowling has improved leaps and bounds but the batting is lipid now. In the absence of Kohli, (injured Pant), Rahane, Pujara India seems to be sailing downwards. Let India loose more test matches and develop better pitches and batsman. There are lot of batsman (actually), system do not recognise them.

If an Afghan needs to enter Australia they need a visa. But any one from UK or Sweden or most of Europe they don’t need visa. So it’s utterly pathetic that Australia uses color (or Caucasian ) to determine who needs Visa and who don’t.

One thing I agree with you is Green has to play.
But at the expense of Starc, so Aussies have lot of lee way. Hazzie is too good and economical. Cummins can be handy with the bat. India has its own problems. What if Shami or Bumrah breaks down. There is no 6th bowler. Any good team has one bowler to fill the spot. What if Siraj/Kuldeep goes for runs? I think Aussies thinktank thought through this. But let us see.
Having said this, India is the best team this tournament. Few things that can stop India is Kohli getting a selfish century and wasting another opportunity to outscore opponent or India getting choked.

Overall McGrath is the best in ODIs. Fear factor is non existent but McG created it by yelling or by sledging at batsman. There are batsman who gives back, like Sarwan did in Tests. There are batsman who won’t look at him like Rahul Dravid. There are players who look but cares about business like Sachin did. But McGrath is great and India had great batting in 2003, they put Aussies to bat and surrendered before a ball was bowled. Also Indian bowlers back then were just dibbly dobbly bowlers.

No. I love Malcolm Marshall and Joel. But have you heard about Patrick Patterson?
