The obsession with ruck pressure is keeping them in contests, but not winning them the games at the business end. They have to find more in attack. Cut off their rolling maul, and they struggle to find points. Creativity seems to be missing in between white and ikitau’s positions. It’s not like the pack doesn’t give them front foot ball. Chiefs went in with a plan to rattle Nic White, and it worked. Brumbies tight five had a poor night at the scrum. And the back three didn’t kick well. On attack the forwards gave the playmakers plenty of ball, but some poor decisions got them no where or they gave up the ball.
Tom Hooper, Ikitau, and Valetini were the Brumbies best. Oh well, the EJ circus begins.

He was a beacon of the game in a country that is often dominated in the news by other sports. I would always look for his articles to read about rugby, and even until recently he was asking the hard questions that needed answers. Very sad news, WS will be greatly missed.
