Nice to see Harris get a mention.

Predicted Wallabies team in 2024: Eddie's outcasts back as halves, back-row battles heat up

Yea sucks Harris never got a good run at the Tahs, he was coming right. Reminded me of Ben Mowen type of guy.

Predicted Wallabies team in 2024: Eddie's outcasts back as halves, back-row battles heat up

Someone who makes tackles, hits rucks and is a genuine line out option. Swinton > Tooper and in this case Wilson.

Predicted Wallabies team in 2024: Eddie's outcasts back as halves, back-row battles heat up

We’ve got Bell, possibly Latu, Tupou, Skelton, likely a ball running 7 and Valetini. I wouldnt mind a Swinton type, set piece and defence/ruck focused 6…

Yesssss, Simone would fit the bill 😊 😁

'That's one of the options': Foster admits Test coaching return possible as he reacts to Wallabies link

Bring back Chieka

We’d be playing South Africa this weekend.

No crybabies, no league tragics, no Eddie Jones - the next Wallaby coach checklist

After watching Ireland, they look rather ‘Australian’. Pace, highly skilled, width, flair…. and dare I say rather league-like.

'Be Australian': How the RWC QF classics showed we must urgently define and deliver our own style

Michael Cheika

Fittler's abrupt resignation leaves Blues in state of disrepair with no coach keen to take on poisoned chalice

I do and I remember how good they were earlier too. How good the Tahs team was prior to that

The three contenders to take over the Wallabies if Eddie Jones walks

Mckeller coach, Larkham assistant, Chiek in a HoD role? Glad Cheiks mentioned anyway, for all his flaws, he’s a very smart man and a pretty good coach (short term usually), he’ll get Oz rugby talking again atleast. He needs to be brought back in some form. He also come across as one not to just be a yes man.

The three contenders to take over the Wallabies if Eddie Jones walks

Latu (for all his faults, upside outweighs imo)
Arnold (the better Arnold, worth paying his contract imo)
Holloway (proper lineout option)
Swinton (same as above, and as Latu for that matter)
Hooper
Samu
Wilson
Lonnergan (goal kicking alone was enough for Donaldson…)
Cooper (what hasn’t been said already. Never got a proper chance this time round. Wouldv’e liked to see him get a good run with good players around him 😔 )
Simone (wish we could him back, he’d be an absolute star if he were an all black)
Ikitau
Wright (the best running around, then all of a sudden 5th or so choice, I dont get it)
Campbell (would be awesome to see in the line with Quade, on offence 😁 )

WALLABIES REPORT CARD: 'F--k mate, what didn't go wrong?'- Few pass marks and an F for Eddie in Pool C disaster

FB has to be between Walsh and Edwards (and Ponga), Cleary captain, Carrigan vice (starting lock), Yeo vice (bench lock). DCE (Hunt/Ponga cover halves) and Teddy (Walsh/Edwards/Ponga all FB options) out personally. Tempted to have Edwards 1 and Ponga 14 (Hunt missing out). Cant pick Critta and not To’o (or Luai even), cant see either choosing Aus anyway.

Kangaroos squad: Crichton plays his way into green and gold jersey but faces test of allegiances with Samoa

Def thought Leicester shouldve gotten another run 😔

COMPLETE RWC Cup week 4 teams: Eddie makes changes, Fiji at full strength for QF push, Pollard to play first Test in 13 months

Imagine Panthers 3 peat…. Throw everything we have (and can borrow from where ever else) at Nathan Cleary and his Dad 😱

The Wrap: With Wallabies done and dusted in 15 miserable days, who do we trust to take Australian rugby forward?

At this stage yes, but looks the goods and brings abit more size, which is the way 7s are trending.

This is no time for X-factor: The Wallabies' challenge is to find a structure to out-structure super-structured Wales

Kemmeney to the Tahs would be nice.

Swinton
Kemmeney
Gleeson

Tahs/Wallabies backrow 😁

This is no time for X-factor: The Wallabies' challenge is to find a structure to out-structure super-structured Wales

Current make up, hes going up against Marky Mark, and on current form Mark>Andrew.

Wallabies set to back veteran halfback for crunch Fiji World Cup clash, gun fullback misses selection again

If Tates out youd start IFL, if Tates out indefinitely you bring in Lonergan… make sense? Re previous reply, we’re likely to get carved in the centres regardless, but your right, maybe better off with a Foketi/Perese pairing?

Kerevi vs Semi: Can Eddie afford to go into crunch Fijian RWC clash with underdone Wallabies star

Move Korobiete to 12…. He might miss a read or two (no more than any other Walla) but he’ll give it his all. Fortunately too, plenty of good wingers around.

9 Tate or Leleiwasa or Lonergan (pending injury…)
10 Gordon
11 Marky
12 Korobiete
13 Petaia (Jordys a risk, injury prone, gonna be a tough game, but he’ll could get injured at anytime in any other game regardless)
14 Kellaway or Suli
15 Donaldson

Kerevi vs Semi: Can Eddie afford to go into crunch Fijian RWC clash with underdone Wallabies star

So we can turn him into a crash test dummy ala mccabe/faianga. 😁 was a kinda tongue in cheek suggestion.

'Doing their thing, playing free:' Wallabies smash Georgia to kick-start RWC campaign in style

Reminiscent of the Deans era Wallas 😔

10 CG
11 Suli
12 Koroibete
13 Kellaway

We need us a crasher/tackler in the centres dearly, wonder if we could run Marika at 12 one day, Mccabe/Faianga esque. Kerevis not really doing it atm.

Yep i second Lonergan

'Doing their thing, playing free:' Wallabies smash Georgia to kick-start RWC campaign in style

Thought he looked pretty good for first run, surprisingly quick if anything.
