Pilferer, than why are they talking about playing the games in the UK

'Bloody angry', 'incredibly disappointing': Rennie furious, Marinos makes staggering claim about NZR CEO

Agree Ritchie. I had tickets and am super pissed its not going ahead. I really don’t understand why the couldn’t come over. No cases here, yes they would have to go in a bubble but hey they are professionals payed a bucket load of money. Maybe more behind the scenes than what we are been told. Lets see how they are going to split the gate $ if they play over in the UK

As a mad AB’s supporter I actually like the way Hooper plays. Goes hard and fights for for his team 100%, just needs a few more to step up. Your team is not that far away. Great hard nosed coach that believes in his team. One thing I cant understand and the coach struggles I recon is the aimless kicking. To beat the AB’s you need to build pressure, retain the ball. Seen near the end in the first half that you can pressure the AB’s into making irrational decisions by doing just that.
I’m not a religious man and maybe a little selfish but I’m doing a silent prayer that the AB’s can make it to Perth. Close to a sell out of 60,000 I hear!!!

'He's a freak', 'just unbelievable': Even the Kiwis are gushing about Michael Hooper's form

As a mad kiwi supporter who lives in Aus. I see the author of this piece has, much like the Aussie super teams failed in highlighting what really went wrong this weekend. To me the big issues seem to be around the defense and also ball handling. I was at the Force game on Friday night and if the Force hung onto and loved the ball like a fat kid loves cake they would have really pushed the Highlanders.
You also never see the kiwi sides kicking away possession when they are behind on the scoreboard with 5 min on the clock.
Not sure what the answer is but hope the teams really start looking within before the axe starts swinging

How to fix Australian rugby's trans-Tasman problem

I think you got the point I was trying to make

The Wrap: Goldilocks, Super Rugby and the three bears

NZ teams do pull a lot of bums on seats(me included) and I think most Australian fans want to see how their team fairs. I watched a few of the Japanese games and it looked like they were playing on dirt fields with a minimal crowd. Agree with getting them involved somehow but can’t see how all the unions would agree on a format that suits them all.

Australian rugby's new pyramid (scheme)

Agree. I was at the game and I recon it would have been close to 50/50 or maybe a few more Chiefs supporters. I think if the Force got the W there would be more than 13K for the Highlanders game this weekend.

Hi Geoff good write up as usual but….”Rugby side with championship hangover travels internationally on a short turnaround and fails to win against well-prepared opponent’.
You fail to mention that when the Chiefs played who were also in the grand final last week, start time for their noggins was 12pm(NZ time). By the time they get into the changing rooms it would have been close to 2am for them and it showed up a bit in their performance. It’s going to be a good measuring stick this comp to see how the Australian teams perform.

Reds really looked cooked from the start. Reds starting halfback had a night to forget the poor bugger, poor kicking at times from more than a few. Their bench showed a little punch when they came on but not enough. I cant understand what the big deal is about the Tongan Thor??
Also TJ Force Fan would like your thoughts on why they have the Chiefs(also grand finalist) playing at nearly midnight NZ time(7:55pm perth time) Now they may have something to complain about. Be well overdue their bedtime for the mooloos
