I thought the SBs didn’t show much – first half was appalling and only got there in the end through slack defence but the SBs won and so be it. And I agree that Ireland will WIN in Port Elizabeth.
ABs – well depends who Hansen brings into the mix – I think the AB mid-field is still not quite the real deal – may get better with SBW is back – I think George Moala may get a look in lieu of Fekitoa – he is as strong as Malakai but is a real 12 – No.13 may still be Crotty.
I agree the ABs will kill SB’s WBs, Los Pumas and will I am very sure show England that they are not yet there….but they are No.2 but way behind the ABs.
And double YES YES – the WBs are very poor, and England need to keep that in mind….ABs will win handsomely under the roof.

Kingplaymaker – I agree with TWAS Skelton wouldn’t add much, just a heavy lump who cant jump. the only way to improve the scrum is to have them practice, practice, practice, – you have to remember NH teams play scrums and lineouts (and occasionally run) and so are very, very good at it. SH tend to use them as a restart from a knock-on or kick out….SH teams do try and be good at scrums and lineouts and many times succeed but if you are playing teams who predicate their game on those two facets – well move to a rainy climate where it is cold and miserable and practice, practice, practice scrums and lineouts and you will attain the same level of competence as NH sides.

Mr Kruger take a bow – that was an HONEST assessment and summary of all that is going wrong or is wrong with SB rugby – nothing changes even when they have everything to play for and for some reason can’t deliver. There is so much wrong with the game in SA and politics doesn’t help but then no-one in SA should think it was not ever going to come to that – QUOTAS – but what is even more painfully obvious is how the game there is played (take out the Lions) but every other game I have seen and that includes your Inter-Schools competition akin to NZ’s First XV competition – there is no comparison. Neanderthal at best, pathetic at worst.

WBs have problems and they are BIG PROBLEMS, there is no issue about attack and scoring tries…it is the other part of the game – D-FENCE…just wasn’t there and no clarity about who should do what and when, I mean the last ENG try was basis 101 stuff….didn’t that guy Fellow, Follow, Fullah with No.15 on his back know where to track to? NOPE he left it to his centre who was way too tired and couldn’t match the new bench legs that just out ran him…101 stuff people…and it wont get any prettier…ENG has the WBs number.

England and Wales had a game up there before they came down under….is that too hard for you to understand…. and NO it wasn’t a friendly, friendlies are only played in soccer – of course WBs and ABs would be a touch rusty, but here’s the rub – WBs got out-played and out-kicked – 6 penalties is not going to help you win – ABs didn’t play well in first half but man oh man did they open the throttle in the second half…and deserved their win…
