This game is another example that you don’t always need a try fest for the match to be a specticle. For the Springboks, I sometimes speculate on whether their selection policy hampers their ability to get the best players on the paddock.

'It's not for the ego': Boks coach defends 'brave, ruthless' sacrifice of No.10 that decided semifinal

It’s more than an opinion. It was a vote based on what people deemed to be right. Using your logic that there is no right or wrong, then why vote in the first place ?

Eddie Jones joked about signing Nathan Cleary - but he might be the only man who can save the Wallabies

He might but he would be wrong. The result was a land slide.

Extrapolating and being melodramatic. Doesnt surprise. Typical response from those types.

Sports people are entitled to an opinion but they make themselves look like a puppet when they clearly (cleary) have no idea eg ramifications of a constitutional change.

Cleary is -” but he would also be the most marketable”. Definitely not after the divisive words and stance he took about the referendum. The number of people that said he should stick to footy was considerable.

Yes the ABs won the battle but their forwards aren’t good enough to win a world cup. They were getting bashed by the wallabies’ forwards. The editor should know Eddie’s words were to drum up interest in the game and it did judging by the crowd number unlike the ABs.

'Whoever sacked Rennie, needs sacking': Eddie Jones wants you to 'pray' as his stock sinks faster than NZ economy

There is nothing to gain by indicating you scored when the decision has indicated otherwise. It comes across as petulant and he has a track record of that behaviour in Canberra.

@ bretttt. You sound like you belong in the playground or maybe your just kid stuck in his room with keyboard.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

You don’t even live in Australia so has no implications for you. However you seem to be a person who believes in self-entitlement. Good on you.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Your right Bretto, Chuck does come across more like a simpleton.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

I prefer not to sound like a tosser.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

@ chuck. Well done, you know how to use a dictionary. Now look up inept.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Exactly TC. Refugees and climate aren’t voted on directly and have nothing to do with the constitution. However the voice is a political issue and will be voted on as the end result could be a change to the constitution.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Your comment is a reflection on you and is meaningless. It’s the adjective and not the noun. Who is the tosser now?

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Charlie, read again your comments genius. You are making me laugh with your nonsense.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Nope. If it wasn’t a political issue then a vote wouldn’t be needed. Your view would mean sporting bodies should be commenting on refugees, climate etc. That is plain ridiculous.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Charlie, trying to use uncommon words doesn’t make you intelligent. It actually shows the opposite.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Champ ? Correct assumption. Well I did box while I was at uni. I didn’t realise aboriginals in rural areas were gorging on Maccas or other fast food. My mistake.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Nope. I will call them aboriginals and there is reason genius, which I will let you figure out. Well getting handouts and living on welfare leads to no good. That is your system right there.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

I fail to see any privilege in your comment. Just a tale about Maccas. At one stage you were commenting on aboriginal health and the next on Maccas.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Here’s a tip Charlie, stop blaming others. There are numerous aboriginals who are successful. Why ? They had a go and took advantage of what Australia can provide. The others have gone a different path often due to poor role models at home.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

Privilege and health ? That makes no sense. Responsible for one’s self is paramount. How did aboriginals cope without modern medicine prior to 1788 ?

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

TC, the horse has bolted as the majority of those who identify as aboriginal are mixed race. They have more in common with modern day Australia than the traditional aboriginal way of life as a hunter & gatherer.

Should Australian sport be raising its voice?

DJ, your comment is utterly fanciful. The law is colour and race blind. Don’t break law and you won’t get pinged.
