Seriously, Pete Samu is the only player to tuck in his jersey, pull his socks up and rip in. The bloke can cover 3 backrow positions, eat up tackles, take the Gilbert over the ad line and use his wheels to snag a try. All when a cheeky smile. What a legend!

Barnes made the correct calls in issuing Yellow Cards. Blame the TMO

THE GREATEST! Boks beat All Blacks in instant classic to claim record FOURTH RWC in controversial, dramatic final

Ah, the 1000s of poor handling errors.

Ah, losing the Ireland series! Foster and Cane were dead men walking. Kiwis were ropeable because they hate losing to the better team

I like that: refuse to lose. Very appropriate! All Blacks were actually still in it, just failed to capitalise and continually drop the ball, and kicked poorly

Yea but his name is Farrell and he collects them like Pokemon cards

'So many s--t emotions:' Distraught Cane says he'll have to live with red card pain 'forever', Foz questions Kolisi escape

So an All Black is allowed to throw a shoulder into someone’s face and be allowed to play on, no discipline at all?

The Boks openly admitted to studying the referee. Surely the Kiwis did too? Not Barnes’ best game. Perhaps Nic Berry should have had the match!

‘We was robbed!’ Jk jk, settle down to the usual Kiwi Amigos…
Adapt, survive and thrive as every rugby game is different. All Blacks failed to adapt and thrive, but they survived and kept it close enough. Their handling errors were atrocious! And not Barnes’ fault. Boks played a perfected boring, predictable game plan. It was so obvious what they were going to do when selecting their 7-1 bench. Kudos to the All Blacks: they tried to go wide, and succeeded! But the handling errors…costly.
Canes card? Well. 2 years to adapt and lower your body height. Again not Barnes fault. Blame the TMO if you must. But also blame your captain for not tackling correctly. Kolisi? Most certainly a Red Card. But again, blame the TMO.
Congrats to the Boks for bringing this match down to their level and playing for penalties. They capitalised and slotted the crucial goals, unlike the All Blacks. Again, mistakes.
The winner of the day: experience! Take note Eddie. There wasn’t much youth out there tonight! But battled hardened blokes.
Now, to finally quit my Stan Subscription and back to Netflix!

Well, plenty of Kiwis weren’t happy with him when they were losing. He is a fine player! Suddenly the ABs are winning and those fans have shut up. Kiwis are fickle people when it comes to winning

'You've broken your neck': Terrifying moment that helped bond World Cup final's rival skippers

Stuart Barnes is the John Kirwan of English Rugby: full of air and rarely delivers content of quality

'You've broken your neck': Terrifying moment that helped bond World Cup final's rival skippers

Sanchez and Co needed to kick for the corner instead of the risky penalty conversion. Back your lineout and keep England under the pump. But it backfired and is what it is… Pumas numerous handling errors were their downfall. They simply couldn’t maintain possession and England perfect basic rugby. England deservedly the winners.

'The players deserved better': Cheika's fury returns as England hang on against Argentina to win RWC bronze medal

Social media! Says it all. Kiwis can’t handle a loss! Better blame Foster asap! Oh wait, now they’re in the final…all is good when the ABs are winning. But if they lose…better blame the coach!

Legacy vs ego: The Springboks are playing for South Africa, the All Blacks are playing for themselves

And how am I a poor loser? Consider kiwis go straight to blaming the coach and fail to applaud the better team on the day. The rugby world knows that kiwis can’t accept a loss to the better team on the day. Oh, better blame the coach! Remember? Oh wait, it’s all good when winning, but when the ABs lose two matches in a row….different story.

Legacy vs ego: The Springboks are playing for South Africa, the All Blacks are playing for themselves

Entitled, as in, they are expected to win a home series, and simply lost to the better team. But then, everyone just blamed Ian Foster. And failed to acknowledge that Ireland were the better team over the series (including the 2 matches against Maori All Blacks too)

Legacy vs ego: The Springboks are playing for South Africa, the All Blacks are playing for themselves

7-1 or, soon to debut, 8-0 Forwards

'Bloody handy!'- Nine All Blacks and six Springboks in The Roar's World Cup final combined XV

Geez, what next, Eddie Jones scratches nose: The Roar reports on it. Eddie Jones farts, sneezes, breathes, better report on it

'I'm so pissed off': Eddie open to walking away from Wallabies if it suits RA, sticks knife into Hoops, Quade

Die Hard fails again.
Boks in a Pool with Ireland and Scotland, both Tier 1 teams and competitive
All Blacks had France
France was their first game straight up followed by….who again? Oh right, three straight tier 2 teams (Italy isn’t exactly strong) with cricket scores.
All Blacks had a 2 week break before their questionably next hardest match: Italy.
Yes, All Blacks had Ireland in the QF….after, say, 4 weeks of pretty easy competition, yes?
Now, the Boks: they had tough matches against Ireland, Scotland, Pool of Death.
What was Boks next match? France! Another tough match. Then, England, who gave them hell too.
You say France with their best player out of hospital. That was a call by France and he still played well! What about those easy Tier 2 teams smashed by the kiwis?? Not exactly testing or fatiguing…
Oh, and if you want to be picky, ABs given an extra day off before RWC Final to rest. But that’s unavoidable.
Two sides to the schedule.
Be humble! Both sides deserving in the final, but Boks had the harder road to it

Legacy vs ego: The Springboks are playing for South Africa, the All Blacks are playing for themselves

Well, ABs do generally feel entitled to win and Kiwi fans cannot accept a loss (Ireland series loss, blaming Foster) But then, the Boks and SA fans are poor losers too (Rassie Rant). So may the better fans accept the game for what it is and let’s hope for a cracking affair! No cards, plenty of physicality, and no excuses no matter the outcome 😉 it’ll be an awesome match!

Legacy vs ego: The Springboks are playing for South Africa, the All Blacks are playing for themselves

NZRU sold their AB brand to a US company, right? So I guess they are technically indebt…

Legacy vs ego: The Springboks are playing for South Africa, the All Blacks are playing for themselves

Honestly, Boks deserve to win back to back. Tougher Pool, tougher draw, tougher matches. Boks to win a close one! The real winner: Wayne Barnes. Very deserving!

You’re welcome NZ

So why is Doctorbx even still on the Roar. Go watch A-League already

Eddie's Wallabies future on tenterhooks amid coaching changes, key ally departs as Waugh returns home

What an excellent comment! Better than Doctorbx who simply enjoys being negative at others comments. Will happily whinge and whine at whoever has the job without ever making a suggestion haha

Eddie's Wallabies future on tenterhooks amid coaching changes, key ally departs as Waugh returns home

So who then? All good to shoot down suggestions without actually suggesting someone yourself…
Ralph Wiggum?

Eddie's Wallabies future on tenterhooks amid coaching changes, key ally departs as Waugh returns home

Giteau, like Coleman, has been steadily coaching in the USA.
I’m all for Older Wallabies taking over, but is that not part of the problem too: stuck in the golden days and a failure to adapt to the modern game and tactics. Unless the suggested Old Boys are great film analysts, I think the Wallabies will be up for it morally, but lack the tactics and strategy to overcome the changing game plans and approaches.
Maybe a Ralph Wiggum with a basic, obviously approach haha
