You should also pick a Wallaby team on form. No one should be guaranteed a jersey just because they are the incumbents or based on potential. It breeds complacency and laziness. Wilson has had a very ordinary season to date and needs to earn the spot. Samu or Wells are the best at the moment (or even Valentini at 8 if Swinton is at 6 ).

Wilson deserves a mention? For being responsible for 20% of the Reds turnovers? For doing nothing in rucks or mauls? 1 long run; 1 x 2m run for a try (good work there) and 12 runs with no post contact metres. Not the best start.

Thanks for those stats (and all the above stats and analysis). I like Hooper as much as I liked Michael Clarke but always grudgingly admitted he was a consistently very good player.
It’s good to see his stats are almost as good as McReight’s. 😛
