All the emotion of this is sentred on aboriginy arguments but one important part of our society has been forgotten & that is the veterans we have fought , died & payed a heavy toll both mental & physically under the current flag & anthem sureley some consideration should be given to how we feel on this issue I am not beating a war drum but as a veteran who was wounded in combat there is no way I want change regarding the anthem or flag

Green’s biggest problem is that he does not trust or pick younger inexperienced players, even with our form and the year we had this year he still continued to stick with older experienced players who were sadly out of form, to slow or sadly past there best. Cliford was a shining light but he got dropped back to Intrust cup & the talk is that that is where he will play in 2019. We had 6 players in the under 20’s test between Kiwi and Australia , 2 were centre’s or fullbacks and they played out of position on the wings, we did not need to recruit a centre from Bronco’s
who couldn’t make there team we have good young talent that should be given a go. No wonder good young footballers are signing with other teams as the Cowboys are not likely to pick them.

I feel that not singing the anthem is a personnel choice like voting, private, you don’,t have to jump up & down & say look at me I am not singing the anthem. I am a returned veteran who saw men killed for the beleife’s of this country and it’s flag & anthem and I respect that all our dealings with our Aboriginal people has not been great, but for unification both parties must be involved & things that divide do not help anything
