The point is you don’t know. We all know you are a Bok fan, fair enough but let’s not downplay or throw shade at TC until the matter is fully out in the open. Personally, I hope it’s a nothing burger but like you, I don’t know.

England's Curry accused Bongi Mbonambi of vile racial insult - but Boks fans have alternative explanation

Ease up there turbo, some questions should be answered.
1. Did Bongi shout this in full hearing without targeting TC in particular? (in which case it would be the language issue and not an insult directed at TC) OR
2. Did he say it directly to TC’s face for his ears only? (in which case it probably was meant as an insult)
We definitely don’t need racial insults in our game and I would be unpleasantly surprised if this proves to be true but don’t go and just pass this off as nothing until the truth comes to light. Do you know the answer to this? If so, please let us all know. If not, maybe it’s better not to leap to the defence of that you don’t know.

England made the semi because Eddie Jones isn’t there 😛

It was in England’s control, they only had to maintain parity in the few scrums when their front row replacements came on and they deservedly would have won. Agree that O’Keefe had some questionable calls and in close games, this will make him a big talking point. But you can’t blame him for this one.

Unbelievable – England had them. Out thought and out played – but for their scrum in the late game. Feel for the England replacement front row, this will haunt them.

All Blacks did not look like they got out of 2nd gear. If they keep their cool next week, they will get their 4th RWC

This will be little comfort to France. All academic as both teams had some benefit from these referee mistakes. We will never know if the result would have been different had these errors not been made.

RWC News: 'Five major errors' reported in O'Keeffe's QF, Rassie misogyny row, Boks react to death threat 'hooligans'

Looks like World Rugby now say Kolbe went too early. Given the intense debate both ways and both sides having reasonable arguments, this law needs to be better defined so there is no room for misinterpretation

Good, the Bad, the Eddie: Bok hails AB for 'best display I've ever seen', Kolbe confounds, 'classless' Rieko claim

When he was appointed, a lot of us hoped he would pull some rabbits out of his hat and he certainly had all my trust and hope initially, even when the RWC started. Of course all that is gone now and all I see is a smiling conman who makes it all up on the fly. I so hope he does not stay.

More observing the way Siya Kolesi approaches and talks to the ref. Respect and politeness goes a long way on the field, regardless of whatever Rassie posts away from it

“All players retire to their goalline and do not overstep that line until the kicker moves in any direction to begin their approach to kick.” Lets keep it in context. Again, if any movement is the cue, no goals would get kicked. If nothing else, this law needs a lot more clarification/defintion. At the time when Ramos begins his approach, Kolbe is well over the goalline. Yes he did his research on Ramos and took his chance and it was an amazing effort to do that and make it happen. But I do think he got away with it.

Not sure it was 8m but definitely enough to make the difference of 2 points

His feet firmly on the ground when Kolbe starts his run. I’d say Ramos has one of the least ‘elaborate’ dances of goalkickers I have seen.

A tenth of a second is the difference between a charge down and 2 points and is easily verified with a review

They also have a very respectful way of engaging the ref when they want to speak. Smart.

I think this is the problem, its not well defined. By this definition, you can start charging Damian Mackenzie when his head turns and smiles at the goalposts. This should only refer to the feet.

Stephen Moore is 100% right, everyone is over it. Comments on this are like a rinse and repeat of many other Eddie articles here. Hoping he goes. He has turned the Wallabies into a team even rusted on supporters are finding hard to support and feel good about. Especially after seeing the stellar performances over the weekend in the QFs.

Re the Cheslin Kolbe charge down of The Ramos conversion, Kolbe definitely leaves the try line before Ramos’ feet move from the spot. I am surprised there was no quick TMO review of this and this was the difference in the winning margin. The phrase in the lawbook “until the kicker moves in any direction to begin their approach to kick” – I assume that means moving their feet forward or backward. He does sway from side to side without moving his feet, surely that does not constitute “moves in any direction”. If this is the case, France would be justifiably aggrieved. Well played to Kolbe, he took the time to do his research, knew he had a chance and made it.

I thought BOK let a huge amount go at the breakdown and France were being a bit robbed at first, then I wondered why France didn’t take the same liberties as the Boks and dish it back.

One other thing Christy – just because sacking Jones ‘isn’t the answer’, it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be sacked. The systemic problems with rugby in Australia have been going on long before Jones was appointed coach and there needs to be a full on review with an action plan to fix these. But there also needs to be an in depth review of this RWC campaign and the extremely poor tactics and strategy Jones was 100% responsible for – this is a completely separate issue. It has been suggested in other comments to move him away from the Wallabies and use him for either the Wallaroos or junior development in some capacity. I get it’s money down the toilet to pay him out so why not use him to get some value in another area and if he doesn’t like it, he can walk and it might save on a contract payout (I really have no idea of the details and conditions of his contract, just speculating).

The Wallabies' World Cup campaign was a disaster from start to finish - but sacking Eddie Jones isn't the answer

If they have to pay his contract out to get rid of him, then make some use of him elsewhere. Consultant to the Wallaroos, if they would have him. Clean the toilets, whatever, as long as he is , 100 leagues away from the wallabies and all pathways that lead there.

'F--king works so hard, bro': Wallaby star's message to angry fans after World Cup calamity

This year has been a Psy-Opera and majority of Wallaby fans are utterly sick of it. We have traversed from ‘Smash ‘n grab win the world cup/win the Bledisloe –>It’s a young team and we have to look to the future in 2027 –>’We are definitely going to beat Wales’–>It’s takes 6 years to build a team–>it can take 10 years to build a team.. and now we are at the point of being told that ‘He works f#$%ing hard, give him a break’.
Please just leave already, we are running out of gas to light
