I learnt to walk on a rugby field decades ago. That's how long I've been a fan.

Do you actually watch the New Zealand teams play??????

The problem with Super Rugby Trans-Tasman

They should consider themselves lucky to even have a salary.

Australian players accept pay cut in time for Super Rugby AU

Rubbish. With the addition of WA and a Pacifika team, Super Rugby would become more relevant to NZers, Australians and Pacific Islanders.

South Africa could emerge as the real winners in a Super Rugby exodus

The sooner SA leave Super Rugby the better. Not only do most of their teams play boring, boorish rugby, but also games in SA are played at times which do not make it conducive for enjoyable watching, even for rusted on fans. Lastly, I believe that the exhausting travel schedules required by the inclusion of South African franchises in Super Rugby take an unreasonable toll on the health of Australasian teams.

South Africa could emerge as the real winners in a Super Rugby exodus

How selfish is that? “I am dissapointed that I won’t be spending my weekends in a rugby field”. For goodness sake spare a thought for your community.

All community rugby in Australia put on hold until May

Ineffectual eight year old type of commitment. One of the best No 7s around? You must speak in jest.

Waratahs' experience counting for not very much at all

so that he doesn’t muss up his hairdo.

Waratahs' experience counting for not very much at all

What is missing? Any intelligence, drive, and selfless team oriented work ethic from Hooper, Beale et al. I agree with The Late News – pampered pooches in love with their own reflections.

Marler is a nasty, deliberate thug, always has been. Throw the book at him.

Marler cited for squirrel grip on Jones

The problem with the Waratahs spine? They don’t have one.

The problems with the Waratahs' spine

I lost faith in the Waratahs years ago.

No surprises: The dismal Waratahs defence shouldn't shock anyone

Absolutely. Last night the Waratahs forward pack ran around like headless chooks – or eight year olds. And the descriptors of “entitled” and “smug” fit the older so called experienced players perfectly.

Too soon for doom and gloom at Waratahs?

Agree. Especially the openside flanker. Penney will have a hard year but as WBGL notes, hopefully he will find and bring through young talent. Then drop the guys with an entitlement attitude.

Rob Penney wants his side to harden up

MZ, you forgot to mention Scott Fardy. Why Cheika snubbed him, one of Australia’s best forwards is completely beyond me.

Rennie's Wallabies need success from Australia's Super Rugby teams

Mr Rennie is an intelligent man. I am sure he has heard of the so called “high performance unit”. If you listen to his interview, he makes it perfectly clear that he will be watching all levels of rugby in Australia and be in regular communication with people on the ground here. I understand Rennie’s message to be: you don’t perform, you don’t get selected. What a refreshing change!!!

Rennie's Wallabies need success from Australia's Super Rugby teams

Totally agree.

And find a real onfield captain.

Wallabies haunted by Ellis Park curse

Totally agree with everyone who says that the Wallabies aren’t as good as we think they should be. I see several problems with the team: they think they are better than they are; Cheika thinks they are better than they are; and Hooper should not be captain because he is too immature and not intelligent enough to do the job.

Wallabies haunted by Ellis Park curse

Totally agree with Wise Old Elf. With last year’s loss to England, the Wallabies notched up their worst win single year record since 1958!!!!! They are woeful. At least if we watch the game from the comfort of home, we can simply switch off and not face a trek across town.
Ticket prices are far too high for what you get – cold empty stands, very ordinary food and drink on sale. As for the amenities……….
Bring back daytime matches!!! They are fun for everyone.
Additionally: not every rugby fan lives within an easy (or affordable) commute to a huge inner city stadium. Rugby is played in regional Australia you know. Come on Super Rugby – go to the people! Most regional stadiums can easily seat the size crowds you pull and you’d get a great atmosphere. Brookvale was packed when the Waratahs deigned to play there this season.
