Completely, agree. Cowboys who? My point is that is is easily solved with a bit more content which is easy and cheap to produce, and is intended for a captive crowd. Kiwis are mainly NSW based and its low hanging fruit.

As others have said here, completely agree that LM is not anywhere near the best fullback. Don’t know why this isn’t said more often. He will be a liability for Souths as long as he’s there. They look lots better with Johnson back there. However don’t agree with the implication of your piece is that Souths is forcing a (very) round peg into a square hole. As others have said that is on LM. He went to Souths on that basis as he wanted the money and kudos. The hard part if not working out his best position, its managing his ego and the salary cap. I almost feel like it was a Bennet grenade. Pay too much for a 5th rate fullback and then leave it for someone else to resolve how to manage LM’s ego and the huge drag on South’s salary cap.
