agree norn, patronising isn’t it.

NRL shows guile in its "war" with the AFL

Lucky I don’t live in Sydney then aye.

Why code wars is the big talking point in Australian sports

I’d support them taking a game over there if the money is right.

Carr refuses to rule out New Zealand State of Origin clash

Well said Ian, NZ are as big a part of ANZAC day as Australia, pity most don’t seem to give them the respect they deserve.

Good on the Melbourne Storm fighting to get this game up and running.

Respect.

Gold Coast graveyard strikes again huh?

NRL shows guile in its "war" with the AFL

Red, we don’t care what the AFL is doing.

All we want is to be able to watch the NRL on FTA TV instead of Pay TV, I got rid of PTV last year but I’d still like to watch our anual ANZAC day fixture.

I’m sure not everyone in Vic, WA and SA will want to watch AFL, just as not everyone in NSW and QLD wants to watch RL, give us a choice for gods sake.

NRL shows guile in its "war" with the AFL

Why?

They have been garbage for 10 years and the Reds still average 20k.

Will the Swans' bandwagon roll in 2010?

So 20k for the lions who have been flogging memberships for two and a half decades compared to the Broncos with around 10/11k who have been flogging them for two years.

Hmmm.

I’ve read that the swans have around 5k memberships from Vic, if that’s the case and the swans are the lowest membership club even behind the lions 22k, when do the swans start looking over their shoulder at the NRL clubs memberships? 😉

Will the Swans' bandwagon roll in 2010?

And they’ll rate 80k again this year many times, I’ll have a bet with you about that if you like.

If I remember right, the Thursday night game has been around for 3 seasons now and the Lions have played 3 times, on those 3 times the ratings have been around the same as they were this year.

Later in the seasons though, they dropped off as they always do.

Will the Swans' bandwagon roll in 2010?

Yes they do ask Dave and his mates, been doing it for 10 years now.

They also won an AFL 9 a side comp, not only won, but flogged the AFL juniors 64-10.

How to stage a League versus Union match

Rod, whay are you leaving out the HC attendances? Did you not see my article earlier, proving that the SdeF was sold out? Inconvenient, so ignored? Stades home attendances include all league and HC games.

Your benighted arguements are tiring me. HC is the most important tourny, yet you omit it from the stats. I’m beginning to think that the furthest you and Realist ever made it from where you call home was an exotic school tour to Toowomba. Nobody knows who the Bronco’s are outside of QL and Aus, I do, because I used to live in Brisbane and I love league, but to anyone else, they sound like a College gridiorn team from Montana.

Time for a new thread.

I had no idea you were going on about the Magners League.

I really couldn’t care less about that comp actually as we were talking about the T14 involving French clubs.

That’d be like me adding the Challenge cup games to the SL sides and saying Huddersfield played in front of 80k last year so it happens all the time, it’s rubbish.

Oh and as for nobody knowing who the Broncos are outside QLD and Australia, give yourself a triple uppercut, I watch RL online every week and thousands of people from all over watch the NRL at those sites.

You are def not a RL fan, you are a RU fan, so stop the BS please as there’s nothing worse than a person who says, I’m a fan of this blah blah blah” then spends all their time running that thing they supposedly support down.

I’m different and I’m straight to the point, if I don’t like something, I’ll come out and say it.

Nothing to do with the Storm, two completely different countries with different sporting pedigrees.

If you want to write stuff about Quins RL and RL in general in London, do an article.

Storm front already rising

Realist, they won’t look at my links as it’ll show up their lies and misinformation 🙂

This is from the official site called, the “Ligue Nationale de Rugby” which covers all RU in France and has records going back to when the game was supposedly amateur.

Pajovic, read the crowd figures I put in, not one is a sell out, click the link and look for yourself.

Rugby fans must acknowledge problems

Dave, you know so much about Rugby, so show me how I got any info from that site, I used a french Rugby Union site, an official one.

Do stop the BS and while you’re at it, can I have those Welsh average crowd figures you were supposed to give me a few weeks back in the Russian RL thread?

thanks champ.

Really zach, care to name where?

Why code wars is the big talking point in Australian sports

If you don’t live in NSW, you’re camping out.

Straight to the point has always been a favorite of mine.

Storm's junior push is right on track

Don’t be a flip horse crazy, nothing could make me watch or like Victorian rulz, I can actually watch and enjoy Union, it has skill, toughness and rules (even if it have too many) that are enforced all too often.

If I want to watch Vic rules, I’ll buy some chips and feed the seagulls or I’ll sneak out the back door of a pub, drop $5 on the ground and wait for 3 drunks to spot it. 🙂

You Vics are really amazing, you think the more you put AFL on TV, the more you put it in the papers and the more you give non stop exposure to it, it will somehow lead us all into following your game eventually, it won’t.

You seem to think also that by putting a team in W Sydney, all the unwashed will have a team to follow even though those same people in the last 35 years have been able to watch LIVE VFL/AFL on TV every weekend, it’s like, give them their own team to follow, they’ll lap it up.

If they were interested in the AFL, they’d be following the Swans already, god knows they’ve been shoved down our throats long enough for no one in the state not to know who they are.

But keep pushing and keep forcing, I’m sure one day we’ll all wake up to this wonderful game of AFL.

Storm's junior push is right on track

Interesting times ahead for NRL and AFL, I think the NRL will catch the AFL a lot quicker than redb realises.

Fans vote with their feet for footy on Good Friday

I mightn’t like Union much but I’d back the Illawarriors RU side any time over the mexicans who continually try and shove their sport down our throats.

Storm's junior push is right on track

nicely put CuzyBros cuz.

What is the world do Quins RL have to do with the Melbourne Storm?

Bulldogs v souths tonight had a bigger crowd.
