Mark Robinson needs to be sacked. His incompetence on every decision making for NZRU has been a disgrace. Its never ending string of disasters for this bloke. That’s the difference-
NZRU knew what the travel requirements were and made it clear to the ARU before heading to NZ. It didn’t work the other way hence NZRU wasn’t confident enough in ARU or the WA govt in accommodating them. Furthermore the MIQ places back home were fully booked so they didnt want to risk being stranded in Australia if an outbreak did occur in Qld or WA.

The players were due for their second shot mid last week. Dont blame the NZRU. If the ARU cant figure out what the covid travel arrangements are in their own country , then how can you expect those outside the country to have faith accommodating visiting teams?

what proof do you have the WA govt granting quarantine exemptions? or are aussies all commenting off emotions over a dead rubber game? What is this ‘light quarantine’?
You do realize that the ABs went back to their home towns after bledisloe two right? Under stage 4 lockdowns, no flights can take place around NZ so for the ABs and management staff to congregate in one city in a day before flying off to Australia in that space of time would be impossible. The backlash and the reaction from the Australian public over this just shows the decaying state of the game in Australia. Its somewhat desperation boarding on insanity when there are bigger issues facing Australia atm. You didnt see this when NRL games were cancelled or postponed.

as said before, NZ has no response from SANZAAR about travel requirements into Australia and by the look of it AR probably disagreed with any cancellation ideas judging by their reaction today.

The only benefit NZ will get as you said, they can only improve and importantly it gives India a false sense of security in the latter stages of the tournament about already beaten NZ.
