Denver must be the most ugly team to reach the playoffs, but man you’ve gotta love them!

Sailosi when you’ve grown up playing on on a dusty road otherwise known as an Indian pitch, you grow accustomed to the wicket. The term “flat-track bully” wasn’t really targetting SRT, more so Sehwag and Dravid.
If you are going to base your judgement on the batting alone, your going to find that Tendulkar comes up trumps a lot of the time.. The point I’m making is that Kallis is very close to the standard set by SRT, but also he is a genuine pace bowler… not a part timer that gets to toss a few deliveries down the pitch every now and again.
Shaun Pollock said once that Kallis would spend the longest time in the nets at training and even when the session was over, he would often stay behind with the coaching staff in order to give sufficent time to both his batting and bowling.
This is not an arguement for who is the better batter necessarily, but more so who is the better cricketer.. Read into that statement however way you wish, but to me a cricketer that contributes as batter and as a bowler deserves a lot more respect.

I should have mention below that against Sri Lanka his stats were not as flattering.
“Ive left out Kallis vs. India and Tendulkar vs. South Africa . Tendulkar played a far tougher SA bowling unit than the India pie chuckers”
Now look who is twisting the facts
Let me re-edited the statistics
Kallis:
72.05 versus India
66 versus Pakistan
73 versus West Indies
67.90 versus New Zealand
40 versus Australia
45 versus England
39 versus Sri Lanka
Average of 57.5
Tendulkar:
60 versus Sri Lanka
42 against Pakistan
55 versus West Indies
49 versus New Zealand
60 versus Australia
56 versus England
42 versus South Africa
Total against these teams: 52
