His delusional old Eddie. To say his side still has a chance is disrespect to the wallabies,the IRB and the world cup itself. Like if that was all to happen does he really think that Australia even deserve a spot in the world cup with the crap that they have shown us this year. Like the players that weren’t selected my hat goes to them for the discipline and respect for the way they showed in the comments by being upset but stood by the decisions and wished the teams well. Players like Pete samu, hooper and who ever the rest that weren’t even mentioned was probably to sour. I mean Mr fix it like Hodge I would have taken to cover every position in that team including prop lmao

True but I just feel instead of taking a coach who was removed like back in 2006 and give him his job back in 2023 why wait that long for something to happen like that again. It would make those like I said in charge eat their humble pie. I am sad for the state of our game from the men’s to the women’s national sides.

Also the coaching staff from 9 months out who were doing a good job working with what they had. Is it possible for RA to sack the top brass and get a group to recall the lot that was let go. I feel the players will have reinstated belief when they see them back on board. Remember when Rennie walked in most of the current players were making their debut. He found them and blended them with the experience he had left. Bring Rennie back would be my call and the nations call for reinstatement. I have said it and I will say it again he was building an Australian union innovative coaching group to eventually take over which was his job description and he knew it was for the betterment of Australian rugby to give back to those that have the right rugby I.Q

The ARU should be ashamed of hiring a dud. Hamish McLennan needs to be removed and Eddie needs to step down. Australia needs a rebuild proper and start again. Clear all the cobwebs. Why haven’t we seen the defence coach Hodgson have a say in the media cos Eddie is trying to save face and not expose him to the fragile environment they are already in. At least I say Rennie brought in Australian coaches to assist him and build to eventually replace him as he knows that was part of his job criteria when he took the position. He had good rugby heads that worked well with him. I remember they lost to Italy but didn’t panic and came back to almost beat Ireland and then beat Wales with a very youthful wallabies outfit. Kids won’t Wana play under this organisation knowing a coach like Eddie will burn them for their good mentally and physically. 7 years of this bullcrap will really destroy the wallabies grassroots.

First of all how can Australia expect kids to follow rugby and be loyal committed citizens when all they do is hire and fire. Every kid is watching and from the grassroots up since Rennie was removed Australian rugby lost a lot of grassroots players. It’s the Australian way nowadays from Qantas in the cooperate world to sports where they pay out millions to idiots that destroy the industry.

Yes cos they got most of the old heads still there controlling the team around the park. Warren Gatland knows most of them unlike Eddie whose trying to choose out of arrogance and stick it to the Australian public that are correct with that they are seeing a team that lacks direction and lacks senior players taking control of the game.

I felt we need an old head Mr fix it player in the team and we need him fast. We dropped 2 which was Hodge and Samu one for forwards and one for backs. Had a look at the November replays and both played off the bench. Gordon cannot be relied on and is still growing as a player. Donaldson is miles behind everyone. Our kicking game as been poor so Hodge with his big boot and defensive on the inside channel is needed. You have 3 inexperienced 10,12,13 which was a nightmare. Petaia with samu around him his a different player. I felt he left foketi behind and tried to do his own thing. Foketi I have always thought is not the best 12 in oz. Irae Simone was alway miles ahead so with no Simone we all can’t depend on kerevi hence we needed a 12 that can defend and has a decent boot. Hodge plays 10 as well and Simone also ball plays out of that position. These selections just don’t make any sense to be honest. The wingers and fullbacks are improving with every game but imagine if they had guys in the inside that could umleash them or defend that avoids them coming in all the time. Pete samu for the forwards was somethimes lazy but he was smart in slowing the play down on opposition ball. I felt he could be that link in getting us going on loose ball or broken play which I feel none of our forwards can. We have all these power forwards but lack quick turnover ball that we can provide threat and that’s where we have light loosies to support guys like Fraser mcreight. Now if he goes down this world cup we are done. Great example of power and loose players is the selection of Fiji. Very widespread sort of players chosen to suit their game. The wallabies are trying to follow other teams like the saffas where we want all power and Europeans to accommodate the set piece. I feel we are in for the worst world cup in our history. Remember we always have made it past the pool stages so let’s see. Go Fiji go.

Great Squad. I feel every position is filled here with someone solid or thereabouts backing up. I feel the last 2 tests against the mighty all blacks the bench lacked punch especially in the front row and pivotal backs position. We need punch their and we got guys named in this squad that can add that. We have to wait and see for Thursday for the official team naming

I wonder why Luke Reimer is not given a chance. His hard on the ball carries well and plays like a fetcher. Better then any 7 in super rugby ATM for the Aussie sides to be honest. He needs to be given time in big moments for Australia A at least to give us an inside on how he performs internationally. Many brumbies which are the best team in oz not given enough reward for their efforts. He plays well of the bench and finishes well for the Brumbies in most games. Also he slows the ruck down. Not sure even why debrezeni is not considered even in an Aussie A side to develop. RA is just picking useless QLD and nsw players and average Vic to be honest.

Yep they have not attacked well for nearly four years since that GF in 2019. Very boring to watch and they score of the back of defence pressure where they make the opposition cause mistakes and they pounce on the fortunes of individualism. They need to be better. They need to find their mojo like when they would run from their own half of the field and really challenge for a try. I feel we need player rotation as well. Elliot his done. We need trey Mooney coming in played well against St George I think. Needs more first grade time. Croker his been good but not sure who else can play centre well. HArley smith shields is not 1st grade quality at this stage needs more time. We lost valemei and now look how his playing well outside a good attacking half like dearden and full back like drink water. Ricky has to take responsibility to be honest. We need to function in attack.

There is no specialist 7 going into this game against the best team in the world. I feel the reason possesion was lost against Argentina was due to big bodies that were slow to the breakdown. Dalton papalii and Savea will have a field day if the loosies won’t make it to the breakdown quick enough. I felt that was where we needed Fraser or at least Pete Samu to cover if it goes wrong. Holloway is too slow to back tom hooper on the 6 jersey. Then you got Leota who carries well on the bench. I would have gone with Holloway playing lock to keep him for his aggression and carries and set piece. Hooper at 7 and start Leota at 6. Then use a quicker 7 of the bench incase it all falls apart like Pretoria. Maybe mcreight off the bench to stem the flow at the breakdown of the all blacks get away dominating the breakdown. I guess we will soon find out if this is our year for the bledisloe.

Why was Pete Samu dropped. He has been an inspiration to this wallaby side especially with the type of style he brings when he plays whether he is starting or finishing. He plays anywhere in the back 3 and jumps well in the lineouts. He has had challenges trying to maintain his place in the team from Cheika then Rennie and now Jones. I felt he was finding himself towards Rennie’s era. How can you forget the Melbourne test against the ABs where he played his heart out starting at 7. Like come on where can we find another forward to perform again to that level against the best team in the world. Like WTF.

Trey Mooney has to be given a go by Ricky and the raiders. I think his ready to play consistent footy in first grade. I’m afraid he might be offered a deal with another club and another great Raider development player bites the dust. He played really when ever he turned out in first grade for the raiders last year. Played well in the middle for the raiders last year especially that qualifying final
against the knights. He deserves a spot I feel. His the future for the club to be honest. I just hope raiders don’t lose him.
