Thats a pretty good summation. I couldn’t watch the England Scotland game in real time, as a Aussie of Scots ancestry its the hope that kills you every time! When I watched it later what struck me was Russell did OK, not spectacular but OK, and Hamish Watson was like a tassie devil with controlled fury. England….looked really off the pace, and as has been remanked before, up the pace and get in thier faces and there seems to be a lack of willingness to change, to adapt to the situation. Loved the interpretation of the laws – they need to be keeping on in that manner, and actually penalising teams for time wasting and mucking about at the back of the ruck.
