Are you seriously suggesting its a case of poor “Baz”? As the others have said a good coach needs to take some responsibility. A great coach shoulders the responsibility.
This is the same Trent Barrett that categorically stated that Jackson Hastings would not play another A grade game and is now back flipping and considering him for next week.
If the coach can’t stand by his decisions its no wonder our poor team has no direction/

Slightly off topic but relevant: I recall, not that long ago up to 2012, Telstra used to have NRL. AFL, News Weather etc FREE. I could not watch any NRL games until after they had been played, but I could watch all of the games, replayed a few times throughout the week. Unmetered.
Now they have found that they can make more money from a service they used to provide for free.

We had nearly 10k here for the Parra vs Raiders game recently but Darwin doesn’t have a team.

I read about a former Storm winger Marcus Bai, having his 1999 Premiership ring returned after it turned up at a Cash Converters store in Melbourne after being stolen 7yrs ago from his Gold Coast home. Police are now expecting to lay charges.
While they’re at it they should return the 17 Premiership rings stolen from Manly in 2007 and the 17 stolen from Parramatta in 2009 and charge the Melbourne Storm?

NRL's cross-promotion round was super
I loved them all. I loved that Manly had the Wolverine Jersey. Hugh Jackman plays the Wolverine in the movies and he is a Manly supporter. No rocket science needed. It was a once off to attract a *new* crowd to the sport, something Dave Smith is really keen to do. I’d say he got this one right.
The demand for the Wolverine Jersey was off the charts. A lot of women complained that they don’t make women’s jerseys (myself included.).
I am bitterly disappointed in the stupidity of some so called Manly fans and their lack of awareness. I’ve known for at least 5 weeks. They even had a promotion at Brookie ~free Wolverine masks to the first 5,000 fans through the gates.

Glenn Stewart will be missed. He gave great service to a great club for many years. He is not the first, nor will he be the last, to be squeezed out due to financial constraints. If nothing else its a relief to put aside the speculation of the previous weeks regarding his future.
Could well work in our advantage for this season. I can just hear the players now pumping each other up in the change rooms for the rest of the season with the catch cry “Do it for Gifty!” Hopefully he ends his career with Manly with another Premiership ring. Goodness knows he probably wont get one with the Bunnies.
