Maybe the fact that hardly anyone watches tv through an aerial, and not streaming it on their app is why their ratings sucked.

It’s not 2002, Seven you technological Luddites.

Bugger a twilight GF – that would ruin the whole day. No lunch time BBQ with mates, no celebrating afterwards down at the pub. And god forbid you actually want to watch the game at the MCG.

Get your grubby hands off our Aussie Rules traditions you dumb corporate hacks.

AFL News: Day grand final a TV ratings nightmare, concerns over Buddy after big day shocker

You’re not calling it as it is. You’re calling it through myopic, petty glasses.

'Got a bit overwhelmed': Cats villain apologises for brutal Auskicker snub, vows to make amends

This is why everyone dislikes Richmond supporters. Bitter, ungracious, pathetic, whingers.

Tom is a top bloke, but he will forever live in their heads rent free.

'Got a bit overwhelmed': Cats villain apologises for brutal Auskicker snub, vows to make amends

Not a decent argument in this big long piece. What a waste of effort.

Sentiment is the best you came up with.

Let the Melbourne clubs have their MCG. It’s time the national teams started their own comp and broke this pro-Melbourne bias for the good of the game.

This Melbourne-centricity will kill its growth chances soon enough.

Why the grand final must always be held at the MCG

I think it is fair to say that Richmond’s problems transcend their injury list. Their young forwards haven’t been firing and the midfield has been woeful at times. You can’t blame the bookends out for that, and I don’t think having them there would have changed it.

Five talking points from AFL Round 15

Probably thinking North are not really doing his chances at another club any harm.

Let’s be realistic here, you don’t wave a magic wand and transform entire game plans when you come in as caretaker coach.

A lot of credit being given to Shaw, but to me this is a clear sign that the players just simply were not putting in the effort under Scott.

No it’s not. It is a neat little thing for people very poor at maths to be amused by.

Five talking points from AFL Round 15

Mostly right. Adelaide and West Coast do not have the best attack, this year – by a long shot. They are not intimidating at all, and easy to contain under the 6-6-6 rule.

Out of the teams Geelong have played, GWS easily the scariest attack to control when the kids are giving supply. Then Port last week, Dixon is worth two Taylor walkers and. Josh Kennedy – he is a beast who knows where to be and has the skills, plus their plethora of smalls – they are a scary proposition if Westhoff and Ryder fire up too.

Also, you have it backwards with Geelong. Our top four finish will be built on those first seven rounds of the season, the toughest in the league. It’s a bit shallow and snipey to suggest they only get there because of the draw and Kardinia Park. You owe yourself a better standard of commentary than this.

Who's leading the AFL flag race after 14 rounds?

It’s actually going to take “two games like that” to knock Geelong out this year. Wheels would have to fall off like North in 2017 for Cats to miss the double chance.

I understand you have to put lipstick on a pig, but I don’t think too many Cats coaches or players are worried by that loss.

For those keeping tabs, Geelong do their mid season heavy loads around the bye, and this year’s was particularly hard. That is the reason behind our post bye record, nothing more.

If you think the final eight is done and dusted, think again

Author follows Essendon, got it.

They are not in the same league as GWS, and the reasons that you put forward are home ground advantage plus general improvement?

Don’t recommend any punters follow your advice on this one, no chance the Bomber’s beat GWS off a break especially. Looking at the AFL betting centre, it seems they agree with me anyway.

The rest of your tips are fair enough.

2019 AFL season: Round 15 preview

The penalty should have been gone for the season.

If I ever found out a team mate was betting on us, he wouldn’t be on the list for long.

I'm astounded Jaidyn Stephenson will ever set foot on an AFL field again

Not if the player makes decisions on field based around the good of his bets rather than the good of his team.

I'm astounded Jaidyn Stephenson will ever set foot on an AFL field again

What’s the problem with murdering a human being, did you just say? Unbelievable.

I'm astounded Jaidyn Stephenson will ever set foot on an AFL field again

Astounded? The AFL still hasn’t addressed the three games he played after notification. The game is a farce. It’s about time we have a break away league whose aim is developing the game with the utmost integrity, for the benefit of all Australians – not just Melbourne people. The current flogs are as bent as a banana, and Melbourne people don’t care about the corruption.

Let them have their own little comp, and let’s start a proper national one.

I'm astounded Jaidyn Stephenson will ever set foot on an AFL field again

Big gap between supposedly reporting and action. What is going on here? Stephenson earlier admitted guilt, casting doubt on pretty much everything that has come after.

This story has clay feet. Might be some gold under there for the right Roar reporter…

Was Stephenson's punishment fair?

Am I the only one confused by the three week differential between reporting and action?

Why was Stephenson allowed to play for three more weeks, either by Collingwood or the AFL, after it was supposedly reported?

Ten weeks for Jaidyn Stephenson? You've got to be kidding, AFL!

Lol, defamation for what? The best he could win is a sit down chat, and that won’t be through the courts.

Five talking points from AFL Round 13

10 incidents is 10 too many for me, Macca.

AFL has my support, I don’t want to have to deal with drunk, abusive bogans at a public family event. I don’t have to at any other type of family event, so it is about time the rednecks were put in their box.

Five talking points from AFL Round 13

Geeze I don’t see what others seem to in Richmond. It’s not their replacement players letting them down, it is their established players. Getting Reiwoldt and Rance back isn’t going to fix their midfield and small forward form.

How anyone could pencil in Saints, Giants, Power, Pies, Eagles and Lions as Tiger wins must rely on ignoring what you see in front of you. I don’t think they will win any of them on the state of their footy, but at most Lions and maybe Port. They could very realistically finish 10th, but even if they win against Saints and Power (they have no right to go in as favourites against the others on form), they had better hope Port don’t find upsets in any of Adelaide, Lions or Freo games.

Talk of top four is simply pie in the sky stuff.
