Wanderers have made an impact in Australia, as well as being noticed around the World. They have a unique formula of a coach who clicked with his players and staff, to become an effective team capable of taking it to the other notable teams. But most of all a fertile supporter area responded to performance and exposure and came on board to become a powerhouse supporter base that could lift and carry its team in those challenging moments. The foundations are strong and they without a doubt a notable threat for the future in A-League seasons.

Wanderers have come so far, and have the desire to go much further

Excellent article Kia. Something I am passionate about as a result of my own experiences whilst playing rugby. More can be done by teams, coaches and rugby regions in education about head injuries and protecting from them. Definite policies need to be managed by coaches and managers.

Concussion: The silent issue that needs stronger support

Thoroughly enjoyed the article BB. In the lead up to World Cup Tournament this tour will be so important to build continuity, combinations, confidence and a look at the competition to develop profiles and strategy? Analysts will be kept busy for sure. If we thought the Championship had drama then this tour will have plenty for teams like Wallabies who have been exposed in crucial areas and in moments of pressure. Have enjoyed your contributions. Keep up the good work!

Spring tour of utmost importance for Rugby Championship teams

The preparation for this Test rates as being one of the most farcical I have ever seen. The rubbish that has come out of players, coaches & officials mouths in the lead up does none of them credit and only reinforces that the National Team and its associated structures are sick. The woeful leadership of the team does no credit to what is otherwise a team full of fine and talented players who are being made to look a joke in front of fans, the nation and their International peers. If you were a side looking long term at your preparation against the Wallabies for the World Cup, you could breath a sigh of relief because the Wallabies at present do not rate.
Players need to turn up and get with the programme. Pride, commitment and some damned and dogged never say die attitudes are required on Saturday. Coaches need to focus on the job at hand because a team needs nothing less than its consistent A game to defeat the All Blacks.
As for Pulver & Hawker, they are nothing but bureaucratic leeches who are bleeding the Wallabies & ARU as a brand and organisation. Their stewardship sees nothing but a carcass taking shape and ultimately they should pay the price and move on so that the organisation can get on with shaping a structure that can grow the game and support the national team with healthy competitions and nurseries to harvest. The present situation is a result of an addict being addicted to revenue from pay television. This revenue is compromised and thus so is the Wallabies and ARU financial future. These fools haven’t recognised this!
Meanwhile there was an NRC that should have been promoted. It has been a fantastic competition that had the power to captivate the rugby heartland and other sports enthusiasts. However, it has been a wasted opportunity on so many fronts including showing the bright players who may put the wind up some of the complacent Wallaby Roster.
Hopefully I will be proved wrong this weekend by what could be. I doubt it though. All Blacks by 20.

Wallabies team for Bledisloe: Quade Cooper and Lealiifano return

CR you nailed this point and it is incredible as I was making a similar point to Brett McKay. Only yesterday I watched a report by Auntie on Bathurst. It was the most woeful ordinary story, that said nothing for the most drama filled race, it said nothing for the reporter and said nothing for Auntie who I would otherwise rate. Mainstream media is failing and a site like the Roar is filling the void by combining passionate accurate and thoughtful reporting and commentary with interaction with fans and enthusiasts. Well done Roar. This combines well with Social Media as well, because you can follow a story as it unfolds via your fellow sports fans and your favourite commentators.
Cheers Roar Journo’s. Keep up the great coverage. Well done CR, on a very articulate article.

Mainstream media is slipping further behind the curve

Only a dead set goose writes an article like that. Joker!

Souths can't repeat the feat, but could they kill the wrestle?

Very interesting. It seems that some factors have not been ironed out. I think the interfering factors within the Wallabies outweighs the ability to achieve results on the field.

Loving this competition it is the shot in the arm rugby in Australia needed.
