The rot in the Wallabies seems to have started with the bunch that included Beale, AAC and James O’Connor (and maybe Drew Mitchell). A bunch of mildly talented but over-rated players whose performances never quite justified the hype surrounding them.
Bringing back AAC was a mistake, and not even in hindsight. All it did was probably cause resentment in the ranks, and for a player that somehow won a bagful of caps for no good reason I can remember.
Women in the room until 10.30 may not seem like a big deal but I remember that past Wallabies teams made a huge deal about someone wearing a wrong shirt or not putting on the jacket at breakfast or tough protocol things like that. But those teams won more than they lost.

Reckon it was a good decision to drop Beale. Might be just the kick he needs to get his A game back. He’s been coasting for the past few years.
