No doubt they where dumb but the club supplied them with booze before they took off to the uber and I reckon passing the buck completely to them is poor as I’d say the little shindig the players had that night led somewhat to the later outcome imho.

Injuries and when they happen will always dictate your year and if we end up fifth it’s probably the best year to do so and cruise back to Perth for a week, all will be back by finals so no need to worry and getting great experience into the young blokes is fantastic, you can’t stop injuries you can only look at the positive outcomes they create.

The two lads won’t be paying a cent of these fines and to financially cripple them especially when they have no guarantee of AFL contracts moving forward is cruel to say the least and definitely not on brand with the Richmond mindfulness/forgiveness model they have apparently built any legacy on. Don’t put on a couple of 21st mid week with booze if you can’t cope with possibly ridiculous outcomes in a 20 & 21 year old as they tend to do stupid stuff whilst drunk.
